Iowa State highlights. Looks like he has a rifle arm from these, and no fear (Favre-like, throwing into coverage) for better or worse.
(Sorry, couldn't figure out link.)

I was there, a freshman still, and I am almost certain there was a wrestling match in the Assembly Center that day prior to the basketball game. Two guys who lived on my floor in Hatcher were on the wrestling team, and I had wrestled in high school so was interested. My cousin and I went to see the matches and then just hung out there roving around to not get caught.

(We did the same thing later in December 81 for the Springsteen concert -- The River tour -- and we got to hear most of soundcheck.)

Anyway, at some point that afternoon, Sam Bowie walked right past me, and I was embarrassingly eye-level with his waistband, yikes. But man, those were great times for LSU Basketball! Loud, fun, hopeful!
I'm hoping the lack of transfer d-linemen now means that Kelly expects his new DC and/or DL coach to lure one or two defensive linemen in the spring portal from his current school.
Penix's throwing motion is so awkward. Not sure why more of his passes aren't batted down at the line.
Sorry, meant to upvote and missed. Can't seem to delete downvote. Sorry. Geaux!

Bringing my nephew over from Austin to College Station for the Aggie mauling. :geauxtigers:
Yelling "Tiger Bait! Tiger Bait! Tiger Bait!" (instead of booing) when opposing team takes the field. And staying till end of game.

O'Dowd Junior Year Highlights
His junior year highlights at Stoneman Douglas High in Parkland, FL. His high school only played two games his senior year. Odd throwing motion/angle reminds me a little of Rivers. I hope we blow out someone enough he gets to make a handoff or two, though it's unlikely he sees the field.

Interview with Recruiting News Guru
Recruiting News Guru called him a 3* QB. O'Dowd says he had interest from ULL, Indiana, Pitt, Rutgers and Ivy League schools.

He is Tiger Bait now, and not looking forward to a full-speed collision with Sage Ryan.
Austin local Tiger (LSU class of 86) will be there in purple in section 49, row 31. Geaux Tigers!
Sign King just to keep him away from othe SEC West teams -- Kiffin, Leach, Fisher. Not too worried about him at Arkansas. He will hate sitting behind Brennen and quit after game 2 anyway.

I have thought the same thing for years! That monstrosity could slice off a toe if dropped. Players should not be allowed to lift the boot.
With less than a minute to go, Devin White stops a two-point conversion that would have sent the game to overtime. Tigers win! GEAUX! #FreeDevinWhite

Driving in from Austin! Geaux Tigers!
My nephew and I will be wearing white #40 tee shirts (printed with purple numbers on back, and Free Devin White on front) over long-sleeve purple shirts, and wearing purple caps. I'm pretty sure no one will mistake us for Bama fans. Geaux Tigers! Beat Bama!
Thought my fellow Tiger fans might relate to this song about riding the Mississippi River levee with their dads back in the day, performed by Louisiana-raised musician John Gaar. He was in Chubby Carrier's band for many years, and he's now based in Austin. His new full band album will be out Nov 2nd, called Roll Like That.

Slow Rollin' by John Gaar (acoustic version)

I'm a songwriter who grew up in St. Helena Parish along Hog Branch near Pine Grove. My Paw Paw took me to my first game at Tiger Stadium when I was five, and I graduated a Tiger in 86. John (who's from Alexandria) and I co-wrote this song in his garage last year to honor our dads and grand-dads.

I will be in Tiger Stadium (where I was an RA back in the day) to watch us destroy the Tide next Saturday. Geaux Tigers! Beat Bama!

If you like the song, please share it with friends. Thanks! Rick
