The joke is making broad claims about a fanbase based on the intentionally inflammatory opinions of people on a message board. No normal LSU fan thinks this

This may not be always right but I’ve been told that if “Mc” is before a consonant it’s pronounced “mick” and if it is in front of a vowel it’s pronounced “Mac.”

Like McAfee or McElwain vs. McDuff and McCartney

So in this case it would be pronounced “mick-neese.”

Congrats on being an AWL.

I think their love for Coach O has definitely made me like him more because it brings attention to LSU as a whole when they talk about him, which is huge considering PMT is one of, if not the most popular sports podcast in the world.
They even made a song about Louisiana as a whole a few months ago during the Will Wade fiasco-

I wouldn't say it is to treat people like children, it's just psychology.

Instead of having to skim the whole post and not quite understanding your point, it breaks up one big blurb into the separate ideas you are trying to say, saving time and effort.
Besides, most people reading this board have jobs and don't feel like reading much when they don't have to. :geauxtigers:

The thing is, he is projected around the mid-30’s in most mock drafts and big boards as of now, so it’s not like he’s a sure-fire lottery pick. He might go pro but I would argue it’s a bad decision. There was an article that came out about Naz today that goes into his draft stock for anyone that’s interested.
