Any insight into the Chavis contract situation? I continue to see things regarding his unsigned contract...and that he was approached by A&M.. But not hearing any rumors of him leaving... should we be genuinely concerned...

Jefferson sinks the ship.

Last night, after watching LSU look as offensively inept as they have for most of the Jordan Jefferson era, it dawned on me, this is exactly how the story was suppose to end for Les & Jordan, it's appropriate and it's karma. With Jarrett Lee standing on the sideline with twelve minutes to go in the 4th quarter, down fifteen with absolutely no offensive production with Jordan Jefferson at the helm over the prior 48 minutes of the game.. The unwillingness to give Jarrett Lee an opportunity, when he was such a major part of the reason why LSU was even in the championship game, conjured the image of a caption going down with his ship without exhausting all possible measures to save her. That is not to say Lee would have made a difference, but after his success this season, not to mention his dedication and loyalty to the LSU football team, he had earned a shot. But that opportunity never came and in the end we will never know what might have been and that to me, is sad
I love my Tigers and I'm a fan of our coach, But I am glad the Jordan/Lee era is done. It is Time!
Looking forward to the future and the 2012 season.
Geaux Tigers!

Excellent Post!!
I felt much better about the direction of the team after watching the replay last night....
Things could be a LOT worse..... We could be posting thoughts about our team's loss to Jacksonville State!! :rotflmao:
Sure wouldn't wanna be a rebel fan today!!
I'll take the win... let's move on... get better... and get ready for Vandy

I'm just providing information that came from a source who is very, very credible.. do with it what you will..
Personally I could care less about what any of you think about my postings..
you spend your time posting.. and I'll spend my time sitting 15 rows up on the 50 yard line behind the Tigers bench in the Georiga Dome..
Geaux Tigers

Mark my words, Miles is gone and probably Pelini too...The Powers-that-be are not happy with their lack of focus since their names have surfaced regarding the Michigan and Nebraska jobs... I believe they will be gone by early next week....Miles maybe Monday
Saban will leave Alabama and be the coach at LSU probably before the end of next week.
He will sign a long term contract with a very large buy out clause and his salary will be roughly 1/2 to 3/4 million less a year than he is currently making at Alabama...
I believe at the press conference, he'll speak of coming home & that there are something that are more important than money... etc..
Remember you heard it here first!
