re: False River catfishing.

We put out some yo-yos the other night and had close to 40 between 10p and 8am with some rebaiting in between off the pier. That shad spawn usually doesn't help but they stayed hitting thru day break

He's not wrong in saying that the average plant bro makes comparable base pay to nurses with similar benefits and usually better retirement plans

Costa says that the sunscreen most of us use fishing and outdoors is why their rubber wears away. Makes you wonder if it ruins rubber what it's doing to our bodies haha

The pink/bubble gum went viral after the Classic when Lee went off using a pink/bubblegame jackhammer

As far as skirts I'd just emulate whatever Jackhammer and Dirty Jigs are using

VIP Surface Concepts Detailing in br, they're not cheap but worth the cost

if the past few weeks are any clue they'll raise it for the shooters and gang members instead

Y'all ever hear how they get boiled seafood with their food stamps? The boilers in the ghetto have freezers to place them in for a few seconds so they're technically "frozen" foods
Pretty simple fix, if you buy tickets using an artist pre-sale code the original driver's license or credit card must be shown when entering. It's what Rogan does at his comedy club to prevent scalping.

But they'll never do that because Ticketmaster makes money from scalpers. Each time someone buys and sells tickets TM makes more money so why would they want true fans to buy the tickets? They want scalpers to pay fees buying the tickets, scalpers paying fees selling the tickets, then the fans going to the concert to pay fees buying the tickets to use. It's a scam, hence why they refuse to do anything about it.

re: Thoughts on the A-Rig

A-rig never should have been banned professionally, their logic behind the ban is the exact thing going on with FFS but Lowrance, Garmin, and Humminbird are 8 figure sponsors to tournament trails so....
If it's in good shape a local shop or restaurant might "borrow" it to display

Nightcrawlers around the dock pilings/shade lines is all you need to do to catch your body weight in catfish every few days. If you want some bream and catfish swap the worms for crickets that you can grab at Pablos in town.

re: Need to cull my wardrobe. Tips?

One tip I saw was if most of your stuff is hanging, flip the hanger hook the wrong way on the rack until you wear it then flip it the right way when putting it back. Anything that's still flipped the wrong way after a year gets tossed

Myself though I can't find a reason to ditch anything that's still in style and still in good shape regardless of how old or little it gets worn

re: Traffic is horrendous in BR today

Prairieville to New Roads at 10am, an hour (45 miles). Not bad

New Roads to Prarivielle at 2pm was an Hour and 45 minutes (45 miles)

Prairieville to Alex Box for the game was 50 minutes (14 miles)

re: Livescope for Inshore Flats Fishing

Posted by John_V on 3/13/25 at 1:25 pm
It could work. Scott Martin used livescope in his win last year at Okeechobee in 4ft flats and had it on "perspective" mode to locate fish where you're seeing like a 50ft cone all out around the boat
