from a progressive who personally doesnt smoke much pot; this move by trump would be brilliant. Not only does it blow off some of the young hate and animosity... i really dont think it would bother his base very much. The GOP and Mitch McConnels of this world would have stroked out at this idea just 4 years ago. If i can credit trump with one thing its that he called out these so called republicans and made them fall in line, there is no GOP anymore... there is trump and his followers, he single handily resurrected a dead party and made it in his image... regardless if they did so out of desperation, he still optimized the opportunity to full effect
