re: Vance: “I think we’re heading to a government shutdown”

I'm a dual status federal employee and I am a big time saver. 85% of my military check goes to TSP and maximum TSP on civilian side. I save 6 months worth of household bill money. I don't understand how anyone could live paycheck to paycheck. I live well below my means so that I can retire comfortably without social security. And I vote shut it down. There are way to many government employees that skate at work and do the minimum allowable. To many get decent performance appraisals that don't deserve it.
re: How much would you spend on your pet before you draw the line?

While I love my three GSD. I wouldn't spend that much, but the wife will spend 20k of her money on all of them individually. To me they are just animals. To her they are her kids. We don't have any kids. We are in our mid fifties and I'm all about retirement money. So for me 2k max.
re: What coach was at the helm when you first started following the Tigers?

Jerry Stovall. Lived on South Lakeshore drive next to house for LSU president. Use to walk around the lake on game day to go buy tickets for $5. Lots of empty seats back then. I do remember watch the orange game under Bill Arnsbarger. Didn't he leave LSU to go be Florida AD.
re: Resting adult heart rate

I'm 52 and my resting heart rate is 40-45. When I was in my thirties and ran everyday it was lower 33-37. If I'm stressed my rate is in the 60's at a minimum. Just depends on exercise amount and alcohol consumption for most people.

Clearly he said a presidents words matter. So as vice president (if elected) these words should matter

Ellijay and Blairsville are truly God's country. You can actually afford a retirement house there. At least for now. Wife and I are moving there in 2026 when we are both retired

Don't ever buy cyber insurance if you own a business. It would be waisted money. They will not pay. Just went through infraguard cyber conference and that shite is a scam
re: For the vets - what was your best/worst command (base)?

I loved Shaw AFB. Had Fun there. Lots of great TDY's. But I was there from 2000 to 2003. Workload sucked.
re: Whats the furthest you've ever driven in a day?

Drove from Fayetteville NC to Frisco TX. On the regular back around 2013. Always drove straight thru. Think it was about 17 hours.
Also left my first wife in 1998 and drove from Portsmouth NH to Memphis before I pulled over and slept at a rest stop. Then drove to Ponchatoula and went back to active duty.

re: Are these pitchers that dominant? LSU 3 runs/gm avg

At best our bats are ok against mid level pitching. Against top tier pitching all bats suck. The SEC tournament was against so so pitchers.
