re: Joke Thread: Bring your best!

Today I saw dwarf prisoner climbing down the prison wall.
I thought to myself “that’s a little condescending”.

We had one that called in one Christmas because he had staph on his butthole. He felt terrible but dude was in pain. He offered to send pictures to anyone who questioned him. No one took him up on it!

They live 3 miles from my house. It’s eerie outside. Drones and helicopters going over the house. I’m surrounded by over 40 acres of woods but I don’t want to go out and impede progress. If I show up on thermal it’s not doing them any favors. I want to help but like many I’m glued to Facebook praying for a positive update.
re: How was the crowd last night?

I might have been a prisoner of the moment but I told my wife that was the greatest game I’ve ever been to. Last night was my kids first LSU game, it was my sons 8th birthday. I was at ‘03 UGA, ‘07 Florida, and several other big games. I know having my family there added to the experience but the way that game ended with just a gutsy play call just was just icing on the cake. My 6 year old daughter was actually asleep the whole 4th quarter and OT. When we were lining up for the 2pt play I told my wife to be ready to cover her up if we score bc the stadium was probably about to explode lol. It’s a night I will NEVER forget.

I’m wondering the same. We must have the same “friend”.

Got it brother, you can take it down if you’d like. Although this isn’t the OT so hopefully you’re safe ??

Luckily the condo was purchased years ago and the mortgage isn't that much. But I agree, its becoming almost unbearable and will most assuredly make it more difficult to sell in the future.
I’ve got some questions about rentals/real estate in Perdido Key, I’m here now with the family. Mind if I email you?

Risk a lot to save a lot, risk a little to save a little. If we have confirmed someone is inside/trapped, that is priority number 1. Now at some point conditions might reach the point where life is not viable, if the whole house/structure is fully involved then the chance of survival is basically nil. People will succumb to the smoke before they get burned by the flames. But then again there usually isn’t someone shooting at us when we show up. I would like to think that the officers were ready to go in and engage but they might have been told to standby by their command staff. Some commands/chiefs get caught up trying to weigh every pro/con instead of just making a decision, be it right or wrong. There’s an old joke that C.H.A.O.S. stands for “Chief/Command Has Arrived On Scene”. All that being said I have no law enforcement training, and obviously was not on scene during this tragedy. I don’t want to sit here and Monday morning quarterback but in my mind you risk a lot in this situation and you go in and engage the shooter. Yes you are putting your life on the line, but that’s what you took the oath to do.
Just my two cents.

I’m originally from LB and we usually pick up something from there every time I go back to visit my parents. I still call it “Pineville Mart” from back in the day before DV took over. I have never had anything from there that I didn’t like. Just be warned if you call in your order and his dad is taking the calls you better be there at what time he tells you! If he tells you 20 minutes he’ll call you back at 21 minutes and ask where you are ??

re: Help with plumbing for outdoor kitchen
Posted by TBass82 on 4/5/22 at 9:13 am
I probably didn’t make this clear in my OP but my griddle is propane as well as the stub out, we have propane for the whole house so I shouldn’t need the conversion kit?
Help with plumbing for outdoor kitchen
Posted by TBass82 on 4/4/22 at 9:48 pm
I had the plumber run a line on the porch for propane as well as water and drain for future outdoor kitchen. What kind of fittings/connections do I need to be able to hook up my griddle so I won’t have to use bottles?

I remember in the early 90s I was watching a Braves game on TBS with my dad when a batter grounded out to second, the announcer said something along the lines of “So-and-so is retired.” I thought he meant that the player just retired from the game after that play, not that he was just out.

You have my support! I don’t know the first thing about you, but just the fact that you are a member on this site and that you think the current board needs to be ousted is all I need to know!

I went to the Central Michigan and Auburn game and I never even saw one of the check in sites, literally walked right in for both games. It was a joke.
