Great Lake summer town- where to go?

Posted by xBirdx on 7/15/26 at 11:08 pm
Family of 4 - kids 22/16

Looking for something different for next summer- thinking a lake town. Walkable downtown, good beaches, good food, touristy is ok (we want to see other people..)
Don’t feel like reading thru…. Where do we donate at?
Yes!

Wrestling sucks now

Those were the flow try years…even though I knew it was fake by then
Please quit talking about my wife.

Thank you!

What’s common is greed..

A place opens up, reasonable prices, it’s good, and stays busy…

Slowly owners start raising prices… then get to a point where it doesn’t make sense and go out of business…
Walker High School alum!!

And from what I hear, a pretty good cook
Why, bc he chose LSU?

What if he committed to Ole Miss, and Haven did to LsU?

Would you say the same thing?
Nah, Temple sr has his hands full with lawsuits etc. he’s a slumlord
Don’t worry…. Ben Voogd jr and Andre Del Piero Jr are coming up soon!
Traitors? Grow up dude… news flash, not everyone that lives in Louisiana, or parents went to LSU, are interested.

It’s almost like kids want to make their own path… crazy huh?
Timing!!?

It’s bc our coach was unqualified and outclassed. Did you watch our team the last few years?
No… actually it’s the same.

10% bad apples in any race
I think it’s just a small number making most of the noise….. at least where I am from at least.

I have plenty of black friends and acquaintances, and that shite doesn’t exist around us.

It’s always the 10% causing 90% of the problems.
Yep.. double edged sword.

Great to invest, but makes you cash poor sometimes
Definitely not always the case… your painting with a broad brush …

Ever been laid off? Went from $130-150k/yr to $85k. 9 years later still not back…

Life’s tough sometimes … sounds like you haven’t experienced what a lot of others have. Count your blessings, and don’t look down on others when you aren’t sure of there situation.

A lot of good people, with strong financial sense, that have to do what they have to do. I’m speaking from experience
My first vehicle my parents bought me: $4k, 1991 Chevy blazer, 122k miles This was in 1997, so 6 years old.

My first purchase: 1998 blazer, 40(ish)k miles for $16k

In the market now for a used truck for my son… no way to find age/miles
On a vehicle for those prices

I worked for a regional comsumwr finance company 5-6 years back… wanted us to wear a coat or tie… said that’s what “banks do”

These people were stuck in 1995
