SHOULD BE ALL CAPS. THIS GUY NEEDS TO FEEL SOME PAIN IF ITS AN OLE MISS DEAL.
Seen it spelled two different ways. If spelled wrong, my bad.
You may be right, but if the coaches don't know who the starter will be I would have trouble making a prediction. As I understand it, Miles B was in the portal and had essentially left the team. Coach K recruited him to come back and at the time that was very important addition, all things considered. Obviously, Coach Kelly will have to make the best decision for the team. I have wondered how big a factor it will be in making that decision, if the competition is close, in that Miles agreed to come back when the team needed him and he has only one year left to impress the NFL. How much will these subjective issues play into the decision if it's close?

That big receiver looks good, too.
I would agree that there is not the level of excitement one would expect given his athletic credentials. The problem my be his PR image. In at least one of his interviews, he clearly indicated he was in it for the money. There may now be some reservations by LSU folks as his ability to now put that behind him and contribute as a team player.

re: Anyone know the TAX of NIL

Gonna be taxable income. If $400-500K paid in a lump sum the first year, they will owe Uncle Sam well over $100k. If paid out over 4 years, they might owe roughly 20-25 % per year. Just seat of the pants estimates. Let's get a over/under bet going on how many of these rocket scientists don't file at all.
This may turn out to be a more difficult system to perpetuate than we currently think. The spirit and letter of the laws concerns the payment to athletes for the use of their name, image, and likeness for ongoing commercial purposes. It was not intended to facilitate university recruiting programs. At some point, someone will challenge the application of this ruling and its intent. I wouldn't be surprised if that someone is the NCAA once they wake up from behind the wheel.
The Chinese Potted Plant that needs watering, strikes again!
As a N.O. guy, I agree. Many solid football players have come from North Louisiana and I cannot see any difference other than population concentrations.
I see a potential problem with the way NIL might be going in resentment of the have-nots towards the haves. Potential impact to team morale and function. Some consideration should be given to a team oriented Name, Image, and Likeness ad revenues where everyone shares the proceeds.
Kelly's strong suit may be recruiting, nationally. So, there's that.
Can relax on this one, we have a coach who is best positioned to make this decision.
Sorry, got to go with Damone Clark as #1 LB 2021.

Nikki better start brushing up on those Arthur Murray moves. New Sheriff in town.
Kelly recruited this potential class while being paid by ND, and recruiting costs such as travel, hotels, meals, etc were on the ND tab. It would be highly unethical to now use that basis to recruit for another school. If a ND recruit were to contact LSU/Kelly on their own nickel to inquire about coming South, that might pass the smell test but the optics would have to be dealt with.
For what it's worth, Riley not on Betonline list.

re: Arch Announces visit - no LSU

At the end of the day, no matter who Arch signs with ( I wish him well) he will have visited LSU more than any other school.
