Good don’t cave for shite who gives a damn what Jayden’s entitled momma wants
This is an unnecessary fricking distraction with the season being less than 30 days away. Hopefully that kid puts his head down, grinds and goes on to have an all American szn rocking #5 to hell with Jayden’s momma thinking their bigger then the program.
frick off with this soft bullshite

Players don’t give a shite about the school they play for in the age of NIL. It’s all about who has the biggest check. No more playing for your state.

LA kids will always take pride wearing a purple and gold jersey.

Jayden not growing a spine and lacking the ability as a grown arse man to set some boundaries with his momma is behind this nonsense
Which is SAWFTTTT. Causing all this ruckus and wanting to gate keep a number to this degree is crazy. Yes you won a Heisman and were electric for us but how many play off games did you bring the university ? How many sec titles did you bring the university?
How many double digit regular season winning seasons not including bowl games did you bring the university?

Don’t care his mama was behind this Jayden a grown arse man he coulda told his mom to chill instead he burned bridges with a fan base and school that showed him love and turned his career around after he was mediocre as frick at ASU smh.
Anonymous DC’s always got the most to fricking say lol
Many assumed Cooley would be locked into the other safety roll but 2 days into fall camp Jhase Thomas has been ahead of him. Seem to have some very good competitive depth at that position. Thomas is a super talented young guy who’s just a true sophomore. He’s longer, faster and a better overall athlete than Cooley his ceiling is def higher.

Obviously Cooley brings more experience to the table but it could end up being a similar situation to last year when pj woodland beat out a guy who was a full time starter the year prior in Ashton stamps. Will be interesting to see how that battle ends regardless Jhase will def see snaps this year.

Was no.1 safety In LA out of hs in the 25 class. Kid can run, has good length and plays with physicality. Was always high on him excited to see he’s pushing for snaps in year 2
Fair tbh. Lot of talent but we gotta go prove it

1. Can we stop a mobile QB? We've gotten gashed by running QBs the last several years have we made those adjustments? 2. Interior defensive line, still have a lot of questions there. 3. Interior offensive line, can they get a consistent push that we have not had in a few years?

Fair questions that this team absolutely has to answer if we want to reach our ceiling. Hopefully a healthy weeks along with dottery helps agaisnt the running qb. Strong d line play should also make a difference. I really want to see Charles Ross more when we play the super fast qbs like Marcel Reed. That is a 10.3 speed lb he’s built to spy on running qbs

One of my biggest gripes with Kelly and the offense outside of 2023 was that they could never put the small teams away

This is so fricking true. Too often outside of maybe the Jayden years we would let bad teams hang around for far too long instead of handling business. The LA tech game after the Clemson win was a prime example of this the offense was anemic all game to the point it forced our defense to play way longer then they should’ve due to the offense not being able to do a damn thing. The run game was awful outside of that berry run.
But man on paper it’s hard to not be excited about this team on both sides of the ball.

WR room is deep

Run game should be better

Treydez green in Lane’s scheme should be a monster

DL room is younger but much more talented

Have two young studs at corners in Pickett and woodland

Offensive line should be much better

LB room is loaded

We’re finally gonna have some mobility again at QB

Safety play should be elite

Coaching staff on both sides of the ball is strong

In every season under BK there was massive coaching staff and position group questions on at least one side of the ball. On paper there isn’t a glaring detrimental weakness this team has. Ready for September 5th in Death Valley to get here .

I have a good friend that’s nephew is on the team. He’s saying they’ll be pretty good but he’s personally not looking forward to the Baton Rouge game. He said that’s gonna be a once in a lifetime trip to see Kiffin’s debut and knows the lights will be shining bright. He just hopes they show up for that game. In other words he’s worried.

Sounds like even the players know their walking into a buzzsaw
Ngl the kid is playing the recruiting game to perfection same games Lamar brown played. Kid will be a Tiger

I disagree here. I am worried about the backers outside of Weeks and Dottery. Keys showed flashes, but had some really bad drives last year as well. We need to stay healthy here

That room is loaded with talent even if a lot of it is young behind weeks and dottery are you forgetting the 24 class? Baby weeks, Ross, braiker. Singleton apparently having a strong offseason . Lb is Blake baker’s baby that room will be fine

There was a lot of hype bout the 23 team. The media said the offense was going to be Dynamic with Jayden , nabers and Brian Thomas but the corners were a msssive concern. The offense went on to be one of the best in school history while the defense was prob the worst in program history haha but there was a lot of playoff expectations preseason
