Sorta close to New England is Cooperstown. If you like baseball, it’s a great visit.
SoCal is the only area with year round awesome weather, but you have to deal with tens of millions of residents and tourists. And even more vehicles.

So outside of that, very few places that aren't rainy and cloudy as heck.

One of the best spots is west of Seattle, and receives less rain than Seattle, and more sun.

My brother and I bought a vacation home in Port Angeles Washington, for this very reason. Got a real good deal on waterfront property. If we aren't using it ourselves, then our cousins and friends are using it. Everyone agrees that it's an amazing place.Port Angeles is just west of Sequim, which is a highly liked small town of Washington.

Mission accomplished. Go away.

Then you should have put a disclaimer that read the following, "Only people who agree with me, and my point of contention, should reply back in this thread"

Or more simply, "Haters stay out"

That would be like moving to Bremen, GA. Buckhead would be like Mid-City.

We're not talking about distance. And I'm not comparing Northshore to Buckhead.

But as an affluent white guy from Buckhead, he would be more comfortable in Northshore than in Lafayette

Then Northshore is the answer, and what someone from Buckhead would be most comfortable with

Yass queen. Girl boss. Slay.

Serious answer in case you aren't trolling:

If you are trying to avoid what is wrong with Atlanta....the demographics...BR and Nola are worse.

Go to Northshore (Mandeville, Covington, Madisonville, Abita) or Lafayette. Demographics are much better, and lifestyle much more enjoyable.

That being said, you should head northeast or north of ATL to Gainesville, Dahlonega, Cleveland, Ellijay, Blue Ridge, Blairsville, or even Murphy NC. I settled there recently. Excellent demographics. Never lock the door. I know half the town it seems. Only drawback is it's hard to find labor.
Lol

Non-Christian Indian won’t win. Ever.
It’s time to burn the country down and start all over again

Let’s begin from feudalism, and we will build from there
I started using Delta exclusively for the past 6 years.

Never a single issue other than maybe a 15-40 minute delay every once in awhile

Massive scam

Doesn’t save you all that much money

You’re on the hook for tens of thousands of dollars

Don’t try selling your home if you still owe money on them. Otherwise you’re gonna have to pay them off, hardy any buyer out there is willing to assume a separate loan on solar

Also, it adds zero value to your home when it comes to selling. No buyer is going to want to pay 10-20k over market value for a home with solar, when they can get one without
No wait, but still good?

Stiles Switch
France. Twice.

The first time, I was shocked at wait times to actually get an appointment. Weeks. It was worse than the VA. But I also had private insurance from my employer, which in those days was great.

That being said, the French have really compassionate doctors and staff. Also the cool thing is that their pharmacists are allowed to practice a limited amount of medicine, and will proscribe

In the interim, I noticed wait times for appointments back in the US increase further and further

The second time, wait times were the same, but much better than the US

American healthcare is declining rapidly

Cars, trucks, tuition

These are acceptable to take loans out on imo. Just don't buy out of your price range on cars. Try and keep your payment under $300/mo

Tuition...stupid expensive. Nobody can afford it. But most people don't need to go anyhow (English majors, women's studies, theater, art, history, et al)

Most other things, I can understand your argument, to an extent
