re: BI and Willie had an exchange during Game 2 according to Shams
Its known Borrego wants another shot at head coach but if the head coach and star player aren’t listening to him, there is no reason for him to stay here as an assistant.
He will get his shot next season I bet. Either Willie gets fired pretty early in the season, or Ingram is trade...

I was coming to post this.
This sounds to me like when JB was first brought in Willie was on board with how JB wanted to run the offense until Ingram started pouting about it, then Willie took the players side.
The plays drawn up and CJ laughing I can believe, you have a brilliant offensive ma...

To add on to all this, since the end of the season Pelicans twitter feed has been a train of Zion tweets
Not a peep about Ingram...
That being said- Willie coached horribly in this series. I didn’t see one single adjustment to help win this series.
Did you not see the 3.5 minutes of Hawkins in game 4?
Is that not good enough adjustment for you?
Yeah, Willie’s coaching was abysmal in that series with zero ad...
But I also think that's not how Willie and the staff want to play.
It’s not.
Everytime Willie talks about the style of play the coaching staff wants he always talks about the .5 second offense, shooting 40 3’s a game and pace. Two things Ingram is not good at, and one thing he r...

Two things Shams said that you know came straight from the team
1: The pelicans learned that Zion Williamson is that guy
2: They will have to see how much they feel he is worth, how much they are comfortable with in a contract extension situation.
Those two lines means we are committing to ...

Even Dejounte I would swap BI for.
I would need a little more that just DM, but I would definitely make that swap....

One of these are not like the others…
I would swap Ingram for Jamal Murray in a heartbeat ...
Like others said, once he stopped trying to be like his cousin SGA he got better and more valuable for a team
And this never would have happened here under Willie ...

What we should be trying to do is convince PG to sign with us, then work out a S&T deal involving Miami and 6ers also
Miami: Ingram
Philly: Butler
Pels: Paul Reed, 3 1sts from 6ers
Then send Nance and one of the Clips picks back to clippers in a S&T for PG
Philly goes to fallback option a...
It's not b/c i think the draft is bad, it's b/c we have 3 years to prove to Zion we can get to the summit or he's requesting a trade. trading BI for role players and a draft pick isn't going to help with that imo.
At this point I think surrounding Zion with good shooting players to o...
I think that's a dumb move for Detroit
Detroit has made it well known the last thing they want is another young guy on their team. They want to make win now moves.

Just spitballing here.
BI to Detroit for Stewart and their pick (2 or 3 most likely)
We get a 20 million TPE and keep 21. Take Topic or Sheppard with Detroit pick and get the guard of the future.
Now, where it gets interesting is seeing what Minnesota will do. They are currently in the 2nd ...

I never said anything about them getting better, but they can keep those 3 together and still stay under the tax, they don’t have to blow up anything.
And they still have Steph who has shown he’s capable of carrying them to a championship without a great surrounding cast if things shake out right...
