When I first read the title of this post I thought this is just another Homer post, but you make a fair observation.
I can say that no franchises on the West Coast come close to the atmosphere around the Saints organization - I've attended them all. The closest I've seen was a Packers/Bears game in December that was 20 degrees and had a packed stadium. I was impressed and personally miserable.
I'll give credit where credit is due though: I've seen some soccer franchises in Europe and Latin America equal the Saints.

I'm a Marine vet (grunt) and the only football we ever played in my branch was intramural and too violent for POGs (we called it "Combatball"), so nah I don't care about Army or Navy games and I don't know any grunts that do, but I can only speak for grunts. :usa:
