Apparently so. Wasn’t expecting that!

The going rate for lego kits is about 10 cents per piece in the kit. Average cost of an F1 car (according to google) is $16 million. I wonder how many pieces are in those full size cars.

400,000 pieces according to an article I just saw.

I don’t really care what they wear as long as they’re faster than they have been recently.

Saw Mexico City race has been extended to 2028. Checo rumors intensifying.

Scaffolding seems to be done at safety levels that wouldn’t be acceptable elsewhere. It’s like everyone agrees to turn a blind eye to it when scaffolders are building scaffold

Looking at that picture it seems to be more of a shoring type scaffolding than a regular access type scaffolding.

Whole different animal. Probably was whoever was building that tank more so than a scaffold company.

I have every alert possible turned off on my phone, but I would not object to a message being sent to cell phones to remind people to vote. And only 1 reminder, not 10 of them.

I get an email every time there’s an election.
Leave it out of trash for pickup. Someone will come by and get it before you even know it. Scrap steel.

They need to expand early voting for these pop-up elections random times of year. 1 week is not enough.

It’s not that hard. Wasn’t a person in line last week after 5 PM. Took me all of 30s to do it.
There were 8 people inside working waiting for voters.

Let’s have them work another few weeks of the year and eat up more tax money.

Interesting given he just took delivery of his new company car.

To be fair, he probably ordered that car 5 years ago now.

I feel a pay bump for George coming.

Yeah that was a very cool pass.

lol. Poor Aston?

Alonso seems to be getting in the way and out of position more than being sly and racy like he was just a couple years ago. Getting sad.

Jesus. Lando is losing his qualifying edge and giving it away.
Max is superb.

Cant imagine the race will be as good as qualifying.

They didn’t mention brake cooling upgrades in their FIA notes. Good call though.

Yep. Cut the inside of the corner too close and broke steering/suspension straight into the opposite outside wall. Not too hard of a hit but plenty of broken stuff.

I miss when Rolex was the sponsor, I’m not a fan of these intentionally blurry looking Louis Vuitton banners

I’m with you, never like the look of a Tag for whatever reason. Can’t afford either one so it doesn’t matter.

My wife hates that blurry LV logo too.

Bangle took over BMW design in the early 90's and reinvented the BMW design language which was nearly universally panned, especially among Bimmer lovers. Over the years, those designs have come to be loved. As a testament to that BMW beat out Mercedes to be the global leader in premium car sales during the Bangle era.

I liked most of everything he did at BMW back then except the original 7 Series bangle butt. They fixed it any most everything else looked great to me.

F90 is hideous and weighs more than my truck. It’s too tall.
All of the new new stuff is pretty ugly.

Well they stupidly re-signed checo during the summer break. That seemed to guarantee him a new Private Jet

Think they’ll still treat them as equals and get preferential treatment to who qualifies the highest each race.

What was up with everyone’s brakes?
Max hated his, Charles hated his. Don’t remember that being much of a topic
