Florida. Coming off a NC and not having lost a game as of yet and yes I did watch the Arkansas game and the refs helped them out a bit

UF looked like garbage vs. LSU and Ark.
yea, if LSUs Dline can stop the run.

More proof there are fans that are scared of Alabama.

Who is scared of alabama?
quote:

Will Saban have better success at Bama than he did at LSU?

IMO yes, he will be at bama longer than he was at LSU. He has no aspirations for the NFL in the back of his mind.

He is %100 focused on winning national championships at alabama.

Didn't look like the #1 team in the nation to me

Then who does? UF? Texas?
quote:

The only thing that matter is how LSU plays, how LSU coaches, how LSU recruits.

And my first post in this thread agrees with this.

It has nothing to do with saban bringing bama up. It falls on LSU's players/coaches shoulders.

Yeah, well, Bama's offense has looked like a pile of three day old dog shite the last two games.

Then what would you call LSUs offense?

Ever heard of Mark Ingram?

Bama lost 2 of the top OL in the NATION off last years team and a 3rd starter. Go check out bama's rush offense so far this season. Compare it to ours, a team who lost 2 starters nowhere near the talent of smith and caldwell.

he's a motherfricker to work for as well...I've heard at least 1, maybe 2, assistants can't wait to get out after this season

You think it will matter? He always loses assistants yet always fields a strong team. Miles on the other hand, is only as good as his coordinators.

that more and more Sabanistas surface each day.

What qualifies someone as a Sabanistas? Someone who will admit in public that Saban is a great coach?

If LSU can find anything resembling decent QB play, we have a good shot at beating them.

Its gonna take more than a decnet QB on LSUs part. Bama's D>>>>>UFs D.

I think if you can consistently stay in the top 15 in college football, you are not on the decline. When we start falling out of the top 25, I would consider it on the decline.

You know where LSU finished last season ranked?

or maybe they have the ability to understand the ebb and flow of college football and not hit the panic button at the first sign of a bump in the road.

Because I think LSU has declined and alabama is at the pinnacle of the SEC right now, Im panicking?

No, I call um like I seem um. Im not scared to tell the truth, it is what it is.
quote:

I don't see Saban winning an SEC Champ at bama anytime soon. I still think LSU wins the west and gets another chance to play Florida again! No decline here

Have you watched bama play any games this season?
quote:

There is no decline of LSU. It's called the toughest conference in the country drawing in some of the best coaches in the game in the last few years

That "tough conference" does not seem to be phasing that red and white team a couple states to our East. Going UNDEFEATED after a 6-6 season, something that didnt even come close to happeneing with the best talent that this school has ever seen under Miles' watch. Not to mention, that team could be well on thier way to going undefeated again this season. They dont seem to be worried about a tough conference.

No decline? 7-5 last season. Lackluster performes this whole year, as well as an offense ranked in the 100s. Seems like a slight decline to me.

Maybe LSU fans have subconciously lowered expectations.
quote:

I'm not ready to say LSU's decline;

The decline is here. How bad and how long are yet to be determined though.
Only the delusional thought Saban would not do well at bama.

LSUs decline has nothing to do with bama or its coaches. It has everything to do with LSU and its coaches.

PERIOD.

Why would you hire someone with that much experience and ask him to change?

True, Miles could not even get Malletoe to change the D last season (if he even tried at all) and they didnt even belong on the sidelines in the SEC. Chavis has what, 20 years of SEC D-coord. experience? You think Miles will buck the chief, when he wouldn't even buck the co-clowns?

Miles is gonna let his coords do thier thing the whole season and then make changes after the season is over, if he deems it appropriate. Even if it means wasting an entire year of LSU football: See 2008.
