8 years, but got it back last week
Mississippi dept of Wildlife and fisheries recovered it in a non related arrest and it took 8 years and constant pressure from a friend with some connections
Pistol was returned, magazines and holster were not

This is our coop from “chick chick coop”
They are pricey, but well built, I will never say anything is 100% predator proof, but this one has to be pretty close

Likewise, but airlines can't snap their fingers and swap those 600+ CRJs to ERJs.
But Canada can snap their fingers and start certifying Gulf Stream jets, which is the desired and likely outcome
Why are so many people upset about our response, but not to the original action taken by Canada Why are they not certifying Gulf Streams in the first place?

I’ve shot them in the butt, hindquarter, neck, guts, shoulder, no man’s land, at every angle imaginable. I got fed up of passing deer waiting for that perfect shot. I hunt to kill deer, not watch them. If I think I have an opening I’m taking it ESPECIALLY on a deer of that caliber.
Tyler? Is that you? Congrats on a great buck

I hear ya, my co-worker says he overheard 3 hunters talking about it at Presley’s and he inquired about it, but they had just heard something too. Sounds like a lot of hearsay, probably the same buck?
I will keep my ears open, but my place is right between LR road and where this deer was killed (CC road) , between my neighbors and friends I would like to think I would of heard of another massive buck itaken from this area, but you never know

Probably the same deer, but I would be interested to know of any other information, the buck in this story was taken off a road that almost intersects with Lawrence Reid

Theater was next to mama bravas pizza, was small only a few , maybe 3 or 4
They also had another one on the property but out in the parking lot that was independent of the mall proper but on the property for a while too

Last year it ended on a Friday so they did extend it through the weekend. One would think they would do the same this year.
Don’t know the accuracy but somewhere I read that the state law was that if the season ended on a Friday the commission could extend it through Sunday with a simple vote ( IE last season) but that it did not say the same thing if the season ended on a Saturday , does not make much sense but laws rarely do, the commission could still extend the season but would be a more complicated process, at this point, I feel that it would be too late and the season will close for everyone save the SE zone on Saturday evening

You know, I have caught some shite in this thread, but go back and read it from the beginning, the only time i talked trash was when someone else started it. Was I convinced the story was 100% true from the beginning, no, did I call bullshite, no. As a property owner in the area I have nothing to gain from the story not being accurate, and lots to gain from it being true, which I hope it is, and all information is pointing to it being accurate.
and yes, i had seen shared pictures and videos of this deer last year as well
I killed a young deer this year with massive mass that several people have said could eaisly be his offspring, I am not an expert in genetics

I teach at a school that is about 90% Title I (students who qualify as economically disadvantaged). Our parents do a pretty damn good job with their kids, but we still have many who do not have winter coats. When it is cold enough outside, some will double and triple up on school sweatshirts. Most schools in EBR have it much worse. Putting some of these kids at a bus stop before sunrise with the wind chill in the single digits is not exactly ideal when you have the capacity as a school district to have a virtual day. At that temp/chill, a kid can get frostbite on exposed skill after 20-30 minutes
So a warm school building with 2 hot meals is probably better than being home for a lot of those children?

Interstate and bridges will probably ice over, even if surface streets don't. Guess how many busses have to use the interstate to transport the kids to school. It's one day. You'll be fine if the kids are at home
Is there even one model predicting this? Every update is coming out less and less severe. We are 3 nights away from, why make a decision today? Of course we should not put busses on the roads if they are iced over , but on Friday afternoon, when that’s the least likely scenario, wait to make that decesion. Would we be making a decision about school on Thursday on Monday afternoon? Stop the panic, prepare and have a plan but stop the panic
