I keep hearing this, especially with the newer aluminum coils, so I am not doubting it at all, but is it the fumes that back up into the coils? how does bleach going down the drain line that is down stream from the evaporator affect the coils that are upstream? and I am honestly asking not trying to be a smart arse

we use the yolink system, i am sure it is similar, and like he said I would rather know the temp is rising and be able to do something about it before everything thaws and refreezes than to just know it went out and came back on

bonus that you can link water sensors to it as well and put in your AC drain pan, water heater drain pan, under sink, etc and get notified of water leaks or your AC pan filling up before the float switch shuts off your system
