Heading out to the course too… gonna break in my new Elyte 11Wood :dude:
Lots of clubs offer junior summer camps for kids and you don’t have to be a member to sign up. Lake Windcrest Golf Club might be good to look into.
I’m a member of an Invited Golf Club and they set the monthly dues to an absurd rate. English Turn would not have the Membership support in that area to make it financially viable. When I was a Member back in the day, Management/Ownership couldn’t afford to replace the slate roof.
Invited / Club Corp would have been a huge mistake. Does Poon Tang still own ET?
Such a great facility.

I was fitted indoors at Impact Precision, I’m not a great ball striker but I can hit good wedge shots. They had you hit a full shot and then 50 yrd shots. I don’t remember the degree of the fitting wedge but I was fitted into the same shafts as my irons. It’s worked well for me. Really wanted some Vokeys but my numbers were better with Cleveland RTX 6 Zipcores.
I just replaced them with the new RTZ wedges.

Recently had a driver fitting and was really interested in the Taylormade QI35. I have a slower swing speed and was fitted into the new Fujikura White Ventus Velocore+ shaft and either the Eylete or the Ping G440. The numbers were slightly better with the Elyte.
I bought the Elyte from PGA Superstore with a stock shaft. After 4 rounds I’m regretting the purchase. The stock shaft is not for me. Hopefully when the Ventus comes in it’ll be what I’m hoping for

I’ve used Impact Impact Precision several times after finding out about the shop from recommendations here. I do however buy the club that I got fitted into online. And then have Impact order the shafts and build the club for me. If you order clubs from Impact or Club Champion you will pay retail price for the only the head and then pay for your shaft. So you won’t get the stock shafts with the club/clubs in case you later want to sell the club and keep the upgraded shafts.
What a great win, first win under her and now all the perks and no pressure to try and qualify for the majors.

Given your situation, the grips on those clubs are probably worn out. Have them regripped or at lease the 7 iron which you should use mainly in your range time. Fresh grips can make the works of difference in your swing. You won’t have to grip the club so hard to help control it. I highly recommend for beginners to check out Saguto Golf on YouTube and other social media. He teaches the stack and tilt system which is super simple and basic. It’s not necessarily a good system for advanced players. Also, seems like for you to contribute in your format, you can help by making putts and short game chips and pitches. Good Luck
Eyeline Putting Mirror and The Alignment Ball straight line training aid for putting.
The alignment ball is basically a retractable string to use as a straight line for putting.
An old girlfriend of mine had a couple of those dogs to protect the farm animals, they were the sweetest laid back dogs but their senses were like magic. They would often tear off into the darkness when the coyotes starting getting close and eventually they would return home covered in blood. Rarely did we need to take them to the vet for injuries. What a great story.

Conspiracy Theories are in full effect on Reddit… Rosey missed the birdie putt on purpose. :spank:
Private Golf Club Membership.
I’d quit golfing before having to play public goat ranches on a typical basis. :usa:

If you been playing for 20yrs and if your ball striking is consistent it’s definitely worth paying for a fitting. Spend the $100 on a fitting to get an idea of what you need and then find a used set with the same specs online. You can get an older version of the current line up for cheap.. probably around $500 for a set of irons that are 3-4 years old.
Was coming here to say the same thing. Also, Fujikura recently came out with the White Velocore+ version that I want to hit. My drive swing speed is lower 90s … typically I’m 93-96mph. I’m curious to see the different ball flights comparing the White vs Red and maybe even the Blue.

Years ago someone here recommended Finger Ten Rain Grip Gloves from Amazon. At the time a 3 Pack was $14.99 now they are $18.99 and worth every penny. They last forever and work great during the summertime heat.

I play normal rounds with mint conditioned Taylormade Tour Response balls from lostgolfballs.com
Tournament rounds I’ll play brand new Striped Tour Response to help with alignment on putts.
