re: Saban is a copycat

Hey dude, you got this man crush on Saban?
holding a pellet gun, what's in your wallet?
You forgot the one where running into the kicker rather than roughing the kicker. Five yards vs 15 yards.
The photo of Julio faking the drawers off the defensive player for 73yds.
Coaches calling time out three times with ten plus minutes left in the game.
This one play did not cost us the game....
Get a life folks

Jones only dropped four of those, three pass interference not called. Bama will run the ball and again run the ball! Look for Mt Cody to be in on plays inside the five yd line. They may give him the ball inside the five. They passed to Smith last year for a td. I look for Bama to throw the ball over the middle more in this game.

I remember the game well.
After the Super Bowl Game, Green Bay coach Vince Lombardi was asked " how does it feel to be the best football team in world"? His reply, "I don't know we haven't played Alabama!

The final polls had Green Bay #1, Kansas City #2, and Alabama #3.

The delusion comes from their arrogant foundation predicated upon years of beating everyone 35 years ago and thinking that kind of continued dominance is going to come just as easily.
____________________________________________________

Alabama football history of arrogant foundation goes way beyond 35 years unlike LSU's past 5 years.
Seems this year LSU is getting Les Miles Per Gallon (LMPG)than in the last 5 years.

If LSU's record this year was great >(6-3) you maybe could play the USC Trojan's rather than Auburn's farm team the Troy Trojans.

By the way, Bama played us a much more physical game than you burners did. Get use to Saban, he will dominate LSU for years to come. LMPG will leave LSU before Saban leaves Bama and Tubbs leaves Auburn. Bet cha!

PS;

Bammer > Burner > Barner

Tooooooooooooolane!!!!!

You could be correct, however playing in the SECCG and losing is better than not playing at all.

Yes I am, if we're leading at 1/2 time! I have issued band uniforms to 10,000 LSU fans.

If not,the security guards will out number the LSU fans after the 3rd quarter and will be crushed.
They have built 9-0 on SEC foes who are 11-17 in conference (bottom feeders). They are 0-13 against their next 3 SEC opponents. Losing 1, 2 or 3 of the next 3 is highly likely. :wah:

Bama could lose two of the three remaining games and still go to the championship game. Ole Piss will beat LSU!

Sounds like "the beast from the SEC is back"!
Every board in the Southeast has "Fear Bama" as their number one topic.
You prefer USC over Bama? Don't blame you there; number one player in Louisiana chose USC over LSU.
:banghead:
Your defense coordinator left because he saw the writing on the wall. :moon:
You have South Carolina :violin: and Georgia
:spank: cream puffs before the number the number two team (that hasn't played anyone) as of today comes to town!
You soon will be like the Bamers, living in the past! :wah:
However, I think Bama fans have a bright future ahead of them, if not this year, the next.

Memo to the next Michigan head football coach (especially if it isn't Les Miles, and heck, even if it is): Win big. Win now. Don't stop.

The stakes have been raised in this poker game of college football coaching. High-profile Michigan football alums by the truckload, not to mention a tidal wave of Michigan fans, want to see Miles be the next head coach.

Michigan Athletics Director Bill Martin isn't talking, but he knows what's out there. He's got a full-scale insurrection on his hands. The uprising surged strongly Saturday with the drama that unfolded in Atlanta, with Miles saying he's LSU's guy, for now and in the foreseeable future.

It swelled through the weekend and early week, with reports of Martin not responding forcefully to LSU's effort to wrap up the man who has its football team headed to the national championship game. The tidal wave of sentiment hit the shore when reports began to filter out that Martin wasn't available to Miles' agent or personnel from Michigan during the pre-SEC Championship game flurry of finagling.

A host of football alums are outraged. Fans have flooded sports talk shows, Internet sites, etc., with their displeasure and demands for an explanation.

The question no one has fully answered is this: was being out of touch during those potentially crucial hours a colossal mistake, or a calculated delay? It's never a good idea to be in a BlackBerry hole or the Bermuda Triangle if your own people are trying to reach you in the middle of a coaching search. That's not up for debate.

But whether Miles was Martin's man when the pivotal weekend rolled around is left unanswered. It certainly seemed so, in the weeks leading up to the Dec. 1 weekend. Major newspapers reporting on the process cited negotiations by intermediaries who were hammering out contract details.

That's not to say there wasn't, and isn't, opposition to the man headed for a crystal football showdown with Jim Tressel. That opposition is fierce, and goes beyond those at whom a finger has been pointed thus far. Whether that opposition has a smoking gun that could have stopped Martin in his tracks -- or at least slowed him down enough to open the door for LSU's power play ? is possible. At the very least, Martin appeared unwilling to deal under duress after LSU made its play.

Would he now, before Miles signs the deal to which he agreed in principle? That's the hope of all those inundating the U-M Athletic Department with pro-Miles messages.

There are other coaches who could win big at Michigan, without question. But at this point, those who don't carry names like Urban Meyer or Bob Stoops would be a very tough sell. Michigan fans, unsettled by a recent losing streak to Ohio State, in bowls, and one particular shock-the-world loss, aren't inclined to settle.

So hit the ground running, Next Man Up. Or Michigan nation might hit back.

He's talking to the players he signed at LSU. They are going to transfer to Alabama. The new LSU coach cannot say he won with Little St. Nick's players.
St. Nick said in his presser with the Daily Reveille, that he would not leave any recruits from La under the new coaches tree at Christmas.
It was what it is.
