Bienemy!!

Eric Bieniemy needs a shot at being a head coach … on any level.

LSU needs a new head coach and could use a splashy, offensive hire.

This is my solution to both problems: Eric Bieniemy to LSU. Who says no?

Bieniemy has been a ‘hot name’ in NFL coaching rumors for the last two years, but deep playoff runs with the Chiefs has kept him from landing a position. He has more than earned a shot at a gig but the problem is, I think only Matt Nagy is going to get fired. There is no chance that Chicago will hire Bieniemy. They were just burned on the Andy Reid Coaching Tree and so that simple fact, in my opinion, all but eliminates Bieniemy from getting his shot with the only NFL opening of the year.

Bieniemy was born in New Orleans before his family moved to California, where he graduated from high school. He went on to star at Colorado and was a Heisman finalist; after graduating he went on to have a near-decade in the NFL.

Following his professional career he went to the college ranks as an assistant coach at Colorado as well as UCLA. In his two years at UCLA he was also the recruiting coordinator — so he understands how much weight that aspect carries.

He was offered the head coaching job at Colorado last year, but declined. It could have marked his first opportunity, but it was probably too far of a drop down from his current position — and paycheck.

Neither of those would be a problem with LSU. The program is elite. It is in the SEC. It is also going to pay him a pretty penny to get there.

It is a solid fit all around.

Currently he is not among the top six “odd’s on” favorites for the job:

Make An Argument for the Best at LSU

''LSU has always had elite college level pitchers who have gone on to have long careers as professionals. Aaron Nola, Louis Coleman, Kevin Gausman, Alex Lange and more recently Zack Hess and Cole Henry are just a few names who have been high draft picks or made it to the MLB.''

WHO DO YOU HAVE IN COLLEGE ... PLEASE NO POST-NCAA CONSIDERATIONS

Brody and Tbob compared watching the XFL to watching the MAC ...

What do y’all think ??

I mean Weathersby and Cole Tracy got cut ..

Most starting QB’s have NFL playtime ... I say XFL > SEC ..

SEC teams top 1-4 are better but 5-22(24) on The field are better in The XFL

Cole Cubelic from SEC network in La

Who is a XFL fan here ???

You could have had the news that Pat Mcafee wasn’t going to be on the sideline if you listened to this interview with Cole Cubelic :

LA plays on same field as LA Galaxy .. should be a nice environment

Louisianians Can hardly speak English Much leas French ..

Americans dont pronounce many German and Dutch names correctly .. niether do we with many French names ..

Real French is “Ey-Ti-En” ie a French e with accent aigu ..

But it isn’t French People .. it’s La.. and they say The E as well E
Idea is ..

Burrow is good under pressure .. but pressure him and attempt to eliminate. CEH on The hot route and of course Will make some plays .. bit Can Simmons take away Easy throws under pressure enough to limit LSU’s comfort and scoring prowess
Hopefully Helaire spind away so Much that it makes Clemson question itseld

Look for Clemson to have Simmon at LB

Based on interviews ..

I’d expect Clemson not play coverage .. but insist on affectlng Burrow on his throws ..

With this, I expect Isiah Simmons to play Spy-Rover to clean up on hot routes and RB Helaire-Edwards .

If he proves to be a NFL primed Top 10 player .. this Will be LSU’s biggest Challenge to date .. Despite Aubie dline ...

I expect The game to have fewer points early and a Fourth quarter track race
No. Haha Feb 8-9

Houston had 1000 fans show up for the first ever Xfl scrimmage
