Let it be known that I hate bubbles and think they're stupid but in this case I side with the bar.

Saw the Bruiser Broussard Trio is playing Fools Fest in Covington in a couple weeks. I've seen them and they play surf. That's the extent of my surf knowledge.

Thoughts and Prayers!
Bag of Donuts was best with Dupes when they used to cover Scooby Doo and the Jeffersons. Change my mind.,
Saw Blackberry Smoke there. Thought the sound was fine. Certainly a unique joint. Lots of cool things to do within an hour if you like whiskey, beer and waterfalls.
Lived in Hodges Hall. From our window, we could see over the top of the Assembly Center. Quite the shock one sunny day when two people climbed out to the top of the center and handled their business on top of the Assembly Center. Dude was nice enough to lay down a towel to prevent chaffing.
Paul Jackson, guitar slinger for Blackberry Smoke. No one smiles more while playing than that guy.
Episode 2 = "The Walk Around Show". More than half the time is spent watching them walk around the school.
Don't sleep on Robert Jon and the Wreck in the blues tent this year. Walter Trout as well.

Blackberry Smoke in NOLA tonight

The Fillmore will be filled with southern rock guitars tonight. This starts a pretty good run of similar artists coming up in NOLA. Charley Crockett, Zach Top, Tyler Childers, Band of Heathens, Robert Jon and the Wreck, Drivin N Cryin, Ryan Bingham. I'd say that's a good couple months for good music around here.
