Really reaching for the wins these days. Take a moral victory lap, while you can.
Baker for sure.

I like the fact that they lost by 21 points to an opponent they beat in the regular season. I was pulling for 21-0 … but you know the Ref’s are going to gift at least one score.

I couldn't agree more with your logic. But I think Lane & LSU did the right thing allowing Charlie to coach. This allows the players a better chance to finish what they started.

Thank you, Keith Carter for holding your (hypocritical) line on Lane.

Before the season, establish the rules. Have the committee argue about the math then. Publish the math, then play the games.

ESPN lobbied for a committee so they could boost ratings by angry fans hanging on their every word. It worked, thanks Herbie, SVP, Collenwhoever.
Tigerdroppings 1st & foremost
Hanny (not for breaking news, just to put it in perspective)
Hunt (perspective again, & just enjoy his stupid take on LSU fandom)
Locked on Scone (or Anti-Scone really). He tries to break news & dig sources, but he tries too hard to connect the dots, which usually makes him wrong.
A recent add was Blake. I do love a good rant, but his are a little long for my taste.

Hanny pointed out that Lane is very much like Saban, in that he does not allow near the media access. Interested to see how Gordy's guys develop with the new regime. More winning less sports info on my team, count me in!

Considering the last Tulane coach just went to Florida, I don’t think it’s a bad decision

Hard to argue with this logic. But would have loved to see how Blake could have developed from mixing it up, X's & O's with Lane for a couple of years. I don't think moving to the next step is as clear an open & shut case, even looking at career end goals.

Blake has to choose his path.
Either a Tiger or a Greenie Weenie Tiger Bait.
Thank you Govnah, you were right all along.

Those casting shade on Louisiana & LSU righting the ship are the only ‘clown shows’ in town. ‘Scone, Palmer & the rest of Gordy’s blowhards owe the Govnah, Verge & the LSU faithful an apology.
They said from the beginning, they would wait. There is no downside from the LSU perspective.

O & Frank, with a Lane announcement, gonna lock up early signing day & hand the portal if it comes to that.

I have heard this. And thus far have taken it as a far-gone conclusion. I think one of the OM reporters brought it up & I don't think they or Lane was clear on it.

Could Lane force the issue & say I am taking the LSU job & want to coach the playoff run? I also heard LSU said they'll wait (& I see no downside to this).

I didn't say it Lane did.

His point to the reporter was how all the transfers came in & worked so hard to get this Egg bowl win that means so much to the folks from Mississippi.

It's also an interesting fact when it comes to building a roster. And not the case if he takes the LSU job.

Question: is Mississippi really this shitty that you’re leaving us for Louisiana?

Answer: yes. It’s such a dump not a single player on this offense is even from here and will easily be able to transfer to LSU after the season. Geaux Tigers

Yep :nana:
Yeah, sucks that Kiffin/Sexton required the payout fight to be done & over with.

It is truly a shame that sometimes the bad guys just get away with it. Considerations in hiring the next coach trumps holding BK liable via show-cause in his buyout to the GB lawsuit that his negligence directly caused.

Yes of course,

Only because he despised the fans, culture & apparently the players.

On another note, he was very chummy with the local sports media. And them him. --- kind of awkward watching them do a 180 on the guy now.

And then the same know-it-all talking heads telling LSU fans that the current state of affairs is a "clown-show".

I'll take Verge, the Gov. & the BOS today over the previous regime.

OK, I will allow it!

It is about time that a coach that is underperforming donate the lion share of his salary to the team’s success.

I approve of BK going ALL IN on winning a championship.

And look forward to seeing what kind of success he and the team can have if he does indeed do the RIGHT thing!

Otherwise, keep him in a glass house, scrutinizing every decision, treating him like the problem employee he has become… and his legacy will always be ‘failed to win the BIG one’

Tells me the "PORK" caucus ... has been in Washington "too" long.

The frequent Fox News Blow-Hards were willing to vote for a bill with 1500 pages of pork, but when it was widdled down to 126 pages cutting out their PORK. The "PORK" caucus bolted.

I'm sure each has some "nuanced position" to trumpet as to why they once again sided with Democrats.

Very good offensive line. Still unable to punch it in on 1st and goal w/ short yardage too too often!

Not thrilled / not sad… hopeful on the replacement.
