Remember LSU calling off the dogs against Clemson in the entire 4th quarter trying to run the clock out, what about kneeling down on the 1yard line ??
LSU could’ve scored 70 in that game had they wanted too & 100 on Oklahoma !!
Alabama played player depleted teams in the 2020 season, LSU didn’t in 2019 !!
Alabama played Arkansas, Mississippi St., Ole Miss & Missouri. All had new coaching staffs from the head coach down. Yet none of those teams had any spring or early fall preseason practice time before the season started to amount to anything because of the covid outbreak restrictions. LSU & g
Georgia had a new coordinator on one side of the ball who changed systems from what they were using the season before. Yet again, both teams had basically zero spring or early fall preseason practice time. Alabama played Auburn & Tennessee, 2 teams that fired their coaching staffs at the end of the 2020 season. Florida played Alabama shorthanded, Ohio st. almost canceled playing the CFP championship game because of being player depleted as well !!

Didn’t LSU have Saban before Alabama did ??
Wasn’t Saban fixing to drop Alabama like a bad habit after only 1 season at the end of the 2007 season to go back to LSU if Les Miles took the Michigan job ??
Didn’t Nick Saban say just a couple of years back that the worst mistake that he’s ever made in his coaching career was leaving LSU ??
He was already at Alabama when he said that too by the way !!
Didn’t Saban say at that same time that the LSU job was better than what the Alabama job is because of the huge instate recruiting advantage that LSU has over Alabama ??
Google it up if you doubt it !!
LSU & Alabama’s head to head win / loss record over their last 21 regular season games against each other since the 2000 season.
LSU - 10 wins & Alabama - 11 wins.
You remember when LSU was busy off becoming the first FBS football program to ever be awarded 2 BCS mythical FBS football national championships, while Alabama was off screwing around winning 2 games that very same season ??
Since the 2000 season Alabama has 5 losing seasons, while LSU has 0.
Over the last 2 completed decades since the 2000 season, LSU had the 4th highest winning percentage in the country, while Alabama only had the 5th highest over that same time period.
Number of times to be awarded both a claimed & unclaimed mythical FBS football national championship by at least one major NCAA recognized selector, in the same season in which they also won their conference championship in since the 2000 season, LSU - 4 times, 2003, 2007, 2011 & 2019, Alabama - 4 times, 2009, 2012, 2015 & 2020 ( THE COVID KINGS TEAM ).
Number of conference championships since the 2000 season, Alabama - 7, LSU - 5.
Nationally ranking in the most overall number of players to be drafted by the NFL since the 2000, LSU & Alabama tied for the 2nd most in the country behind only Ohio St.
LSU, USC, Notre Dame & Miami are the only 4 FBS football programs that’s had 4 different head coaches to be awarded a mythical FBS football national championship by at least one major wire service since the start of the poll era in 1936.
LSU, Ohio St. & Alabama are the only FBS football programs that’s been awarded a Major Wire Service ( AP, Coaches & or UPI Polls ), BCS & CFP mythical FBS football national championships.
1st time to be awarded a mythical college football national championship, LSU - 1908, awarded by The National Championship Foundation, Alabama - 1925, claimed by their own Sports Information Director Wayne Atcheson in 1983,
1st Major Wire Service awarded mythical FBS football national championship, LSU - 1958, Alabama - 1961.
1st BCS mythical FBS football national championship, LSU - 2003, Alabama - 2009.
1st CFP awarded mythical FBS football national championship, Alabama - 2015, LSU - 2019, Damn you finally got 1 Alabama.
1st Heisman Trophy winner, LSU - 1959, Billy Cannon, Alabama - 2009, Mark Ingram.
Number of NCAA vacated games over major NCAA rule violations being committed by their football programs, Alabama - 33, LSU - 0.
Numbers of times the NCAA held a formal vote as to whether or not to invoke the death penalty upon their football program over repeated major NCAA rule violations being committed by their football program, Alabama - 1, LSU - 0.
Number of major conferences of the time to win a conference football championship in, LSU - 3, SIAA, SIC & SEC, Alabama - 2, SIC & SEC. Yes, Alabama played in the SIAA too !!
Both Bobby Bowden & Rich Rodriguez told Alabama to go screw their self. Dennis Francioni dropped Alabama like a hot potato to go to Texas A&M !!
Half of the modern day NCAA rule book was written in direct response to Paul Bear Bryant’s cheating ways, by having 192 players on scholarship hid out on the swim team, golf team & etc, just to be able to keep them from being able to play against him. After picking out the best players, he then would flunk the others out of school to where he could pull the scholarships from them. That was also the direct reason for coach Bobby Dodd pulling Georgia Tech out of the SEC in 1966. Replace the hundreds of players with dozens and you have the current Alabama football program under Nick Saban, because of the unethical way he’s used the 1 year renewable athletic scholarship to cut players at a level where it’s not permitted, by just simply not renewing the scholarships of the players that he’s deemed as not. being beneficial to his personal success.
The single most laughable claim of a mythical FBS football national championship season that’s ever been made by a school, is Alabama’s claim of the 1941 season made by their own Sports Information Director Wayne Atcheson in 1983 !!
I guess you’re one of those uneducated people that actually believes Clemson is a traditional football superpower too because of your Dabo comment, right ??
Clemson only ranks as the 33rd best football program in the history of college football according to The Real Number Rankings compiled by The College Football Data Warehouse in their All-Time Team Rankings List. Yet LSU ranks 7th on that very same list !!
Just to where you’ll know, Dabo makes $8 million a year at Clemson, Lincoln Riley makes $7 million a year at Oklahoma, while Orgeron was making over $9 million a year at LSU !!
LSU is the only SEC football program that doesn’t have an All-Time losing record to any conference as a whole !!
LSU was the only SEC football program that won 200 or more games over the first 2 completed decades since the start of the 2000 season.
LSU is the only FBS football program in the country thats been awarded at least 1 mythical FBS football national championship by at least one major NCAA recognized selector in each of the 4 half decades since the start of the 2000 season, 2003, 2007, 2011 & 2019. Yes, LSU also has the rightful claim to the 2011 season just like Alabama does. Google it up if you doubt it. As a matter of fact, thats actually happened 3 times since the start of the BCS era in 1998 through today’s CFP era, 2003, 2011 & 2017.
I mean doesn’t 1 loss Alabama claim 1973 as being a split mythical FBS football national championship season with undefeated Notre Dame, even though Notre Dame was the very team that gave Alabama that loss, right ??
Well at least LSU did actually beat Alabama on Alabama’s on field and went 1-1 against them in 2011. That’s something Alabama can’t say about Notre Dame in 1973, right ??
Alabama’s own head coach Nick Saban totally screwed Oklahoma St. over on his Coaches Poll ballot during the week that the Coaches Poll would be used to help determine who would play in the BCS mythical FBS football national championship game for that season. He literally backdoored his way into a game that he was unable to win his way into. That’s the very reason why numerous different major NCAA recognized selectors awarded their individual mythical FBS football national championship to LSU over Alabama for the 2011 season !!

LOL !!!! Does anybody know where Lincoln Riley was at on the morning of 10/13/21 ??
It was talking to the LSU AD Scott Woodward. An estimated $10 to $11 million per year deal is the word. LSU’s advantage is the fact that it’s a standalone athletic program. Therefore meaning since they don’t receive any state funding, well than they don’t have to have state government approval on what they pay coaches. There’s only around 5 standalone athletic departments at state run power 5 universities in the entire country !! Riley is maxed out at Oklahoma according to most of the talking heads of the Sport’s News Media Services. He can’t win a national championship at Oklahoma while playing out of the Big 12. What do you think he’s gonna do in the SEC while coaching at Oklahoma ??? All of this Oklahoma is gonna get SEC recruits because of playing in the SEC talk is hilarious. Oklahoma could actually be extremely vulnerable by moving to the SEC. Most recruits in the 11 state footprint of the SEC are typically very loyal to their instate schools, naturally they lose some, but the bulk of them stay put or goes to out of state schools that’s in very close proximity to them. A lot of those players that Oklahoma gets out of Texas, well there’s a good possibility that they start getting less of those players because of the possibility of more of them staying home & going to Texas & Texas A&M at a higher clip than in years past. Oklahoma is honestly on par with Kentucky & Missouri in terms of instate high school talent. Texas has only signed 2 of the last 28 five star players out of the state of Texas over the last decade. That number is certain to go up for Texas, with that being at someone else’s expense. More than likely that will be Oklahoma more so than anyone else !!!
If anyone doubts what I’m saying, well than go google it up from about 2 or 3 years ago when Nick Saban straight up said that the LSU job was even better than what the Alabama job is. Steve Spurrier said the LSU & Georgia jobs are the 2 best jobs in college football. Former NFL & major college position coach Pete Jenkins said the LSU job is the best job in all of football regardless of the level. In a national poll college coaches from across the country voted the LSU job as being the 4th best job in major college football. Forbes Magazine said the LSU football program is the 4th most valuable college football program in the country trailing only #1.Texas, #2. Notre Dame & #3.Tennessee. That’s why the LSU job is considered as being a top 1% job in major college football. The Pittsburgh Steelers pay Super Bowl winning head coach Mike Tomlin $7 million per year. Yet the Riley talk is around $10 to $11 million per year !! Will Lincoln Riley be the next head football coach at LSU ??
I don’t have a clue at this point, but I do know for fact that Riley has talked to LSU, with the number being around $10 to $11 million per year. I also know that James Franklin is out, LSU has also already talked to him too, but LSU left the table very unimpressed with James Franklin. My wife’s boss is a big time LSU booster, trust me, everything I’ve said has actually happened !!

Who’s hiring Mike Riley ??
Maybe they could just hire another position coach with no experience as a head coach or coordinator. You know, somebody like Sam Pittman. I mean they already carried one of those type of coaches to a mythical FBS football national championship in Ed Orgeron, right ?? Can Arkansas do that with Sam Pittman like how LSU could ??

Really ??
LSU offered Jimbo Fisher $6.8 million a year over 5 years. Jimbo said he wanted a 10 year deal, LSU said no !! Fisher tells LSU he would take $6.4 million a year over 10 years. LSU again told Fisher no, we’re not giving you a 10 year deal for any amount of money. LSU told Jimbo thank you for your time, but we’re gonna move on to someone else.
Tom Herman has a handshake deal in place with LSU. Texas fired Charlie Strong, Tom Herman tells LSU that he wants to see what Texas has to say before he signs anything. LSU tells Herman that’s ok, but thank you for your time because we’re moving on to another candidate. LSU’s thinking was since they already had a handshake deal in place with Herman, well than he should’ve honored it regardless of what Texas did or didn’t do or say. Tom Herman ends up signing a contract with Texas for less money than what the LSU offer he had on the table was worth. LSU could’ve gotten either one of them had they wanted them bad enough. I mean Ed Orgeron is the 2nd highest paid head coach in all of FBS football, trailing only Nick Saban by around 1/2 a million dollars a year !!
If you’re gonna try to talk about something, well than you should at least take the time to google up what the actual truth is about that topic before making yourself to look like an idiot !!
Whose been awarded a mythical FBS football national championship since that time, LSU, Texas A&M or Texas ???
So who really came out on top anyway ???

Big time money comes with big time expectations, that’s everywhere regardless of what you’re doing. The wins / losses were only a part of what got Orgeron at LSU. Orgeron after the 2019 season was more worried about being the celebrity, than what he was the head football coach. Unfortunately for him that decision ended up costing him his job !! Take that along with how they were losing, I don’t see how anyone could’ve expected it to ultimately end up any different than what it did for him. There were even outside reasons other than wins / losses that got Les Miles at LSU too !! The LSU AD gave Miles the opportunity to keep his job at the end of the 2015 season with a couple of conditions, which Miles agreed to. The very 1st thing Miles did at the start of the 2016 season, was exactly what he was told not to do anymore !!!
Wins & losses are a big part of it, but there not necessarily the only thing that gets a coach fired. It was a combination of both that got Orgeron & Miles at LSU !!

Because the LSU job is considered as being one of the overall best 2 or 3 jobs in all of major college football. Oklahoma pays Riley $7 million per year, while Orgeron is getting paid $9 million per year at LSU !!
The only power 5 program in a state that’s one of the most talent rich states in the entire country. Because the LSU job is considered as being a top 1% job in major college football.
Who has the far better instate recruiting grounds ??
Who pays more money to their coaches ??
Won more mythical FBS football national championships since the 2000 season ??
Whether or not Riley stays at Oklahoma or was to go to LSU, well he’s still gonna be coaching in the SEC either way !!!
Which one of those 2 jobs gives you the best opportunity to be successful in the SEC ??
Now do you see why Riley would certainly listen to what LSU had to say if they wanted to talk to him ???
That doesn’t necessarily mean he would leave, but he would damn sure listen to what they had to say !!

He just beat Florida !!
Nick Saban was 34-24-1, while only having 1 season with less than 5 losses at Michigan St. before LSU hired him.
Les Miles was 28-24 at Oklahoma St. before LSU hired him.
Ed Orgeron was 17-29 before becoming the full time head coach at LSU.
All 3 of those coaches were awarded a mythical FBS football national championship at LSU !!
That’s why you take the LSU job !!

Oklahoma is joining the SEC, Riley is gonna be in the SEC regardless. LSU has the better recruiting grounds than what Oklahoma does. Riley is making $7 million per season at Oklahoma, Orgeron is getting $9 million per year at LSU. LSU has been awarded 4 mythical national championships since the 2000 season, 2003, 2007 & 2019, all claimed, 2011 unclaimed. Oklahoma over the same time, 1 in 2000. LSU is his better option to be successful in the SEC !
