If Brennan were the guy, there wouldn't/shouldn't be a QB competition. Wasn't sold on him last year; ain't sold on him going into this year. Obviously, he's not the guy with the term "QB Competition" being throw around. He's a statue in the pocket, will not be able to escape pressure, locks in on his primary route runner, etc. The QB position is all about making plays when things break down. We don't have a QB that can do this. We've recruited all these "Spread" type QB's over the past several years while still running a Pro-Style offense. Makes alot of sense... Now, we're changing offenses once again to some form of the West Coast. Well, to run a West Coast passing game, you have to be able to make pre-snap reads. We don't have a QB on the fricking roster who is capable of doing such. LSU deserves a winner. Orgeron was on his couch not long ago... Now he's the HC at Louisiana State University, SMH. Ensminger has been a TE's coach his whole career; now, he's all of a sudden this offensive guru. One can make the argument most of the SEC has gotten better over the past few years.
