They really gave this turd a mid-credit scene to leave the door open for a sequel?

lol. Pass.
22 Mass Shootings from 2012-2022

Unless I miscounted, only one involved guns acquired through a private sale according to the AP.

Nearly all shootings involved a shooter with a history of mental health examinations or treatment, a criminal record, or law enforcement being aware the shooter posed a threat.

Rhetorical question obviously, but what does this rule accomplish to prevent mass shootings? …. Guns used to commit other crimes?

I can’t say I didn’t chuckle a good bit through the first half. But it definitely felt more like hanging out with a funny dude than watching a standup special.
Shredder becomes Super Shredder for a whole 2 minutes and gets defeated by bringing a pier down on himself.

Still annoyed

I sold mine for $5 at a garage sale knowing it sold for $65 at the time. I thought it was toast as it would freeze up. Buyer was like,,,no problem. I can fix that.

A $5 trip to Gameware for a resurfacing can turn $5 into $95 I’ve learned.

I’ll lean towards something like, “They shouldnit been in mer way when I was doing the racing fast for mer job.”

And WBRZ…we won’t show you the crash…but stop the video. Theeeeere. Freeze the shot right as his push bars are about to rip the car in half.

Yup. And after not eating all night and feeling safe after the explosion, she was hungry. And frick….that was a good burger.

Not saying this to have a deeper meaning but I have often wondered in movies where we see protagonists in these lengthy, tense confrontations - “I wonder is they had anything to eat yet.”

I have someone of a different theory why that big eyed girl was allowed to leave rather than, “she ate a hamburger.”

It’s a little ironic in that your theory, which I agree with, is being totally overlooked because it’s simple and straightforward. Like a cheeseburger.

While the foodie equivalents on movie forums are trying a little too hard to make it something bigger in hopes of being recognized as seeing what others don’t see.

What if the reason the bacteria was brought up was because someone asked a question and it was answered?

Well, at least mine was intentional as a reference to when the critic called the dish “Thallasian”

The characters were just awful and Tyler was the worst one.

I guess if it’s a satire on foodies

And Tyler was the foodies in the audience.

Alluding from the start that Tyler isn’t a notable guest. Posting every plate they’re served as if food is an experience. Owning kitchen tools and appliances that belong in a chemistry lab more than they do in a kitchen. Talking down to anyone who doesn’t “understand” a dish while pretending to love ones that mock them bc they paid $1,250 to eat a restaurant that serves dipping oils with no bread. That sir is satirical mockery at its finest. Just absolutely…Iambic.

It was a nice change of pace that they didn’t have her John McClain her way out of there like they did with Samara Weaving in Ready or Not.

[sarcasm face on] It was a triumphant victory for the everyday wo/man who used her cunning abilities she’s earned as a…..service industry worker (HOOKER) to outsmart the psycho eunuch.

No. Thinking I should reflow the points?

Need Retro Game Console Repair Rec

Bought an NES console two weeks ago. Seller said it “works but might need new pins”.

Once I got it I went to work.

Replaced the OEM adapter w/ one that works.

72 pin connector received a full treatment of cleaning, boiling, and bending.

My game connectors are near flawless after going back over them with Brasso after using isopropyl.

I went from no power to mostly blinking red light to having to finesses the position of the cart to now almost every game firing up. The next part is where I need help.

I may have gotten too confident by trying to solder a connector on the motherboard that had a small spot of oxidation. See below.

Now my games play for about 1-5 minutes and then the console shuts off.

There’s capacitors I want to check for voltage and I’ll try a long shot of disconnecting the lockout chip.

Looking for any ideas of someone who has a bit more PCB and soldering experience than me. Gameware said nope. Most electronics fix-it stores that specialize on phones in the area only work on newer consoles.

If I can’t find anyone who might want to rework my shite solder, next step might be learning how to rebuild a PCB from scratch….after more soldering practice.

Reminded me of my mom….

Kudos to the writers who created a sick, twisted, and original story by using foodie culture and the 5 star chefs behind the dishes as the theme.

It wasn’t groundbreaking in any sense but just original enough to think back to a time when it was popular for Moms to declare that movies and music were being created by these “Hollywood sickos who worship the Devil” oblivious to the social commentary that went deeper than just the shocking deaths on screen.

I did appreciate that they didn’t look to turn Anya Taylor Joy into superheroine by keeping her role more practical than if she took out the entire restaurant by herself.

I probably won’t remember this film in a year. As someone else said, it’s not really worth a second watch. But at least I didn’t feel like it was a movie I force-fed myself to watch because there was nothing from the unwatchable “Jeremy’s Mess” on the tv menu that we’re used to.

Thought about this recently. I think we're getting to a point where a "This better work" montage will be up on youtube soon.
Need that tag to break up a very awkward conversation about Star Wars

Coming from you, now I feel like I stepped in the ring vs Tyson.

Know that the original comment was not posted with you or ronk in mind. I see how helpful you are to many who aren’t experienced with lawn care issues.

You know the reason why I’d spray 1 day before mowing, besides to allow leaf blades reaching max surface area to absorb the herbicide?

Because my arse can’t tell the difference between Johnston grass and turf after a fresh mow.
All good ronk.

Just some common grassy weed issues that aren’t too difficult to diagnose. Just noticed a common refrain when making sure I identified the right weed. We don’t all need Customer Service ronk!

The Bermuda comment was is response to the downvotes that Cool Hand received. Figured it was people not interested in hearing about Bermuda. Or maybe people just don’t like him on this board. IDK
I’m sitting in the polar opposite chair with centipede. Wasn’t really my choice but figured I’ll do the best I can with it before nuking it and starting over with a reseed.

Finally have property without dense shade areas so may give the denser growing grass seeds a try. Of course that’s after I’ve had a chance to use pre-emergent, properly irrigate and fix low spots, and correct ph levels, that I still find myself getting my arse handed to me by these damn pasture weeds.

Edit: 2 downvotes for mentioning Bermuda in a thread about lawn smugness.?? Relax people.
