The way he keeps is legs moving, balance & fluidity reminds me of Berry Sanders. He is very impressive. Glad he's a Tiger!

Zack Mahoney holds in his farts until everyone leaves the public restroom.
re: How has Devin White looked this season?
Posted by darkdaysof dinardo on 9/18/15 at 11:05 pm
He was close to 200. He got 70 on one carry. He is as advertised. Played nearly every play, offense, defense & special teams. In the 4 th quarter NW ran no receiver sets, which meant Minden put all 11 in the box and still averaged 8 yards a carry, until 1st and goal and Minden held them on downs. He his with purpose, runs hard punishing folks along the way. He's very good.

With all the criticism of clock management over the last few years, I am really surprised that there has been little to no discussion of MS coach taking a delay penalty instead of a TO, the play before the field goal. Coach really screwed the pooch.

His last name was Naylor. He had a brother that's a WR. I can't spell his first name.

I was at the game in the press box. North Webster had a game plan and it was to keep DW from injury. He rushed 6 times for 41 yards- #28 rushed 18 times in comparison. On defense, Rayville's quarterback neutralized him by throwing 24 times 19 times for more than 20 yards. He finished with 324 yards passing (he also rushed for 112 yards). DW ran the 2nd half kick off for a 95 yard TD. He pulled away from everyone- that was really impressive. He would be a BIG get for LSU! :geauxtigers:

Swan was amazing. He was the first person I had ever heard of with spinal stenosis. Best hs player I ever witnessed at Green Oaks.
re: Could Malik Morgan have played his final game as an LSU Tiger?
Posted by darkdaysof dinardo on 2/9/14 at 11:02 pm
I really hope not. I like his game. He has become a stopper on D- much like G. Temple (granted it took him a few years to become one of the best stoppers in Tiger history.) But I do see that effort and desire. The shots are going to be hard to come by with this roster- but he is a valuable part. He deserves so much better! I pray for a full return.
re: What's your most treasured piece of LSU memorabilia?

Every year Armondo Rios would get rid of everything from the year before, batting gloves, gloves, bats… He gave me his 1991 bat from his monster home run in the college world series. He was as cool a guy as he was a stud ball player. :geauxtigers:

If Lolo can't seal the deal then there are more problems than not coming to LSU!!! :rotflmao:
re: JJ may have something going…

I agree, it was only 1 game, but they just beat down a team that beat Mizzo. That's pretty good. I think the thing about spreading out shots and having some scoring punch off the bench is solid. Martin and TQ will be really solid in years to come as starters.
Is it me or does Mikey remind anyone of V. Singleton? Quick hops and smooth to the basket. I really like his game.

I think it also helps on the defensive side too when Stringer and TQ come in. Those two work really well together. And TQ has very little interest in scoring a ton which lets AS & Martin more shots.

That is true SC has never seen a shot he didn't like. But the points of the bench ensure there's not a drought 8-12 minutes into each half.
JJ may have something going…

Not starting Stringer & Martin, I thought was just crazy. But watching there is NO scoring letdown at all when subs come in. Brilliant! JOB3 plays his best when the paint isn't as crowded and it showed tonight.
That was a clinic on crashing the boards. I really like this team. They are going to figure this out over the next two weeks and I think CJJ will have them up and running. :geauxtigers:

I wonder how many people on this board sat through a 2-4 hour crappy sales pitch about time-shares in order to get a free trip? I have, twice. Why are so many people bent out of shape that Davon is getting a freebie? Everybody wants a free one. Let him get his!

Look at NE Texas- we have the potential to steal 3- 5* in Adams, Paris, & Brown. I wonder if UT & A&M fans are melting down?

The NFL's drug testing must be the worst. One thing you say about ex-Tigers, nothing comes between them and their weed... Not National Championships, not combines, not perfect records... Weed must be a top priority over life advancement.
re: Who here has the longest streak of going to games?
Posted by darkdaysof dinardo on 8/15/13 at 7:59 pm
I have been to 2-3 games a year since '94 when I graduated. LSU was terrible in those days. However, I am on a 26 game winning streak since then. I have not been to a game where the Tigers have lost! The only non conf. games have been Oregon & La Tech. All of the others were SEC games. I pray the streak never ends! :geauxtigers:

Here is one of the rules that the NCAA can impose because JF lied... It is the same thing they are looking at Chris Jones of Miss St.
Bylaw 10.1 on unethical conduct by prospective or enrolled student-athletes includes "refusal to furnish information relevant to an investigation of a possible violation of an NCAA regulation when requested to do so by the NCAA or the individual's institution."
His only hope is that it takes them 6 months to finish the investigation and he leaves anyway.
