re: Not his decision

The question was, “IF you leave, will you be coaching the playoffs?” Nothing to see here.

The question was not, “Will you be coaching the playoffs?” There was an obvious disclaimer.

If that happens, we should go after Lane Kiffin.
This is the guy who arrogantly, definitively, and repetitively stated, as smugly, as only he can be, BK would NOT be fired during the season. Between that and Bud Light being a major sponsor of his show, whatever he says, take the opposite to the bank.

Who are the three losers who gave a down vote? It’s the guy’s mom! Can they get banned?
Maybe you’re not, but there are plenty of posts on here that talk about Todd Graves being that 5 billion dollar donor. Some others reference a guy in California. I don’t know who that donor is.

Todd Graves is Worth 22 Billion - Not 5

I think some of you think you are talking about Todd Graves when you reference a billion dollar donor. You may be talking about someone else, but Todd Graves is worth 22 billion dollars, according to Forbes.

See link. LINK

Didn’t go. Never been. But if I did go, I wouldn’t kill any cops or breaking any government buildings. How was that rally for you? Did you enjoy your time in Washington?
Sadly, I think you are confusing the majority of people on this board with decent people who might care about black Americans when they are not running a football or shooting a basketball or pitching in Alex Box.

You know what hasn’t changed since I got my first season tickets in 1999? According to the people seated around me, every black QB we have ever had “is a great athlete, if they could just remember the playbook and read defenses.”

Just pray God’s mercy on them. These are the same people who pulled for Josh Booty over Rohan. Let that sink in.
David Duke was a “Christian” as well. That’s why he got 39% of the vote for Gov.. The other reason is that there are so many racist people, unfortunately, in my home state. I suggest that lots of folks here should read Matthew chapter 26 and remember that this is the last thing Jesus said to his disciples before he was betrayed and crucified, so it must’ve been pretty important to him. We have a lot of goats running around in pulpits in our churches these days and many, many, many goats sitting in the pews.
For the non-Jim Crow crowd here, how do you change your location of where you live on your bio? I don’t see how to do that.
I didn’t know you could have a bio on here. Lemme’ see. Looks like I joined in 2017, and at that time I did live in Baton Rouge. Let me update that.
I actually live in another state, on a golf course, in a 4,500 square foot, three level home, with my three children, all of whom will not pay a dime for college due to their grades and intellect, and my wife who has a terminal degree (that doesn’t mean the degree killed her, it means people call her doctor), and I am working on my terminal degree (again, it’s not going to kill me).

However, if I did live in a North Baton Rouge government subsidized home (I will save you saying that in the next post), I would have as much worth in God’s eyes as you, and my uncle, brother, cousin, dad, grandpa, neighbor, etc. probably wouldn’t be able to get me that sweet job at the plant so I could bitch about all those people on welfare while I played solitaire and did rock, paper, scissors with my other uneducated co-workers to determine who goes outsode for 5 minutes to turn a wrench.

Did I stereotype as well as you did? Grade me. BTW, I have never voted Democrat in my life, so I will spare you that comment. Nor have I ever voted for the POS we have in in Washington now.

By the way, when I did live in BR, I served a lot of great kids and struggling families in the north of the city. They continue to struggle, in part, because of people like you, who believe our country was better off before the civil rights movement. Tell your “black friend” your feelings about the civil rights legislation and tell me what they say.
Well said. All of those things you said are true. So are Flo’s comments.

Seriously, good post.
Sounds like you are talking about our President? Did he grab you by the p***y, too?
Well, there’s a 2.5 minute clip you can easily find on the internet wherein Kirk and his podcast bros bitch about the MLK holiday, demean the work and legacy of MLK, say the Civil Rights movement and subsequent legislation is bad for our country, all the while laughing about how he spends, “at least one hour every week” talking about what a “bad guy” MLK was. Kirk’s words, not mine. I do remember this kind of hammering on MLK before…. Oh, yeah, that guy almost became governor of Louisiana when I was in high school. He got 39% of the vote in this arse backwards state. Multiple things can be true about the same person. She’s not wrong. As an LSU student and prominent athlete representing our school, she has every right to speak against such an asinine suggestion by the “leader” of our state.
Incorrect! The lowest point in LSU athletics history is when the greatest college baseball coach of all time, turned AD, decided Nick Saban wasn’t worth a few million a year, and he (Bertman), because of his own ego, allowed the GOAT to leave us, and we all suffered for it for the next two decades.
Maybe because three of our last four head coaches have won national titles and we’re freaking LSU and Ole Miss has never even made it to the SEC title game.
Les Miles spoke like a 3rd grader. He won a Natty. He absolutely would have won another if Okie State had not lost a game to Iowa State when they were 28 point favorites. A plane crashed and some other OSU athletes were killed near the time of that game. The Cowboy players laid an egg. We had to rematch BAMA. Miles easily has two titles w/o that tragedy.

I am not sure how eloquent Coach O was, because I could not understand him. He won a Natty.

To some, Saban was a bigger jerk than BK. Saban restored our program and won a Natty.

I could not CARE LESS about the things you mentioned, and if you cared anything about what really matters as a true fan, you would not have made one of the worst posts in TD history, and that’s a low bar.

Also, dropping hundreds of F-bombs gratuitously on camera to players and coaches alike when they err is neither classy nor professional. When you win, you can do that. When you lose, it wears thin quickly.

BK could not do what Les and Coach O did in the same timeframe, and the program is REGRESSING. Think about that.

Are you one of BK’s local sugar babies? Literally, no one else who lioves LSU would post this.

(Science Fiction) - Saban or Meyer

Posted by SJLTiger on 10/26/25 at 3:38 pm
It’s Halloween season, so let’s get creative and unrealistic, just for kicks:

If you could get Saban on a 4-year deal (age) or Meyer on a 7-year deal, which deal do you like better?

It will be LIT in two weeks if we take care of business in Nashville!
