Me me me millionaire players who don’t have anywhere near the angst you do after a loss in league that cannot even be consistent with a video review. It’s why I don’t work my Sundays around games. If I can, I will watch. If I can be somewhere else, I don’t watch. I have been done with the emotional rollercoaster for about 5 years now and my Mondays are way more pleasurable

Let's be honest, nothing scales to include 360 million people which is exactly why the founding of this country was based in Libertarianism. By design, they wanted each state to establish there own political nuances as long as they did not infringe on what were considered "basic human rights". Of course, most states had less population than most current average size cities at that time. Self governance really should be brought down to the local level. Once an economic/political ideology reaches a certain population level, it will always go off the rails because someone or something has accumulated too much power.

Very true, but it is the airport where I always see everyone's luggage, including mine, on a different carousel than the one they tell me when disembarking.

From a lay person's perspective, this is simple contract law. These guys are not NFL players. They do not have NFL contracts. If they have another year of eligibility left, how can the NCAA say no? We crossed off the amateur/ pro argument a few years ago. If a college athlete signs a contract that requires their participation in college athletics, they are professionals being compensated for their talents. I honestly do not see the going to class requirement being around much longer either.
