NEZ bathrooms in Tiger Stadium

Posted by Debaser on 10/17/22 at 9:46 am
For the TN game - all of the bathrooms (at least in the NEZ upper tier) were locked and not in service. Does anyone here have any word on this for Ole Miss? That was totally unacceptable on the part of LSU. No excuse whatsoever.

There's so much extra money in Hospitals that 2 not-for profits accumulated so much profits that they combined have $250-$300 million in accumulated excess financial assets that are not needed for operations or capital needs. It's not from fee for services, but rather from pooling contracts and pulling down grant revenue from the feds for providing care to patients who have medicaid or medicare. Then came COVID and the CARES act which just poured gas on the money tree. I am happy for LSU I guess but in a bit of a quandry as to whether this is a net good. Like how could this set of circumstances happen? It's pretty crazy.
I do not give a damn who LSU hires - the day his name is revealed - he is my guy - he has the eye of the Tiger until proven otherwise. 100% loyal to the program and I trust Scott Woodward to make the best decision for LSU. Period.

Who's with me?

Geaux Tigers.
Cristiano in Houma is an excellent restaurant if you feel like coming down the Bayou. Cinclair in Thibodaux is also really really good if you are looking to come down this way.

WTF is going on at LSU?

I mean it's something right? I've pretty much checked out, but I kept my tickets, etc. Since I've never seen a season better than the one we had last year, I did not know what to expect, but I damn well know it's not this. Something is very wrong, I think someone, maybe a few folks, in that building know what it is - and no one is saying.

Contrary to what I've seen reported, everyone one had on masks and most of them took them off once in their seats. My seats were moved from the bottom of the NE upper bowl to the 9th row of sec 240 and it's the closest I have been to the field. I was sitting among the cut-outs. It was bizarre and other worldly.
If we can just get TE play anything like we did last year, we just keep rolling.

I’d counter with the fact the we’ve won all our games by our hustling the other team for rebounds on both ends. So this game seems to be the exception, not the rule.

This. Our defensive effort and attitude was just not there. Seemed like our swagger was lacking. I am confident that Gen Wade will have them playing at a high energy level Saturday. Sometimes it's just not there. Blame the coaches and the players.

Bregman just bailed on the 6 he had in a suite with other LSU athletes and I just got offered them for $4K per tik. I'm covered - but $$$$.
Well of course he is right and it "mostly) gets back to $. What fan base is gonna travel and spend that $. LSU being new to the CFB playoff with a Heisman QB - we are so excited our nips erect and we are scooping up tix, buying flights and making travel plans to go to BFE. Clemson and Ohio State are big soft pepperoni slice aireolas who are tired and bored with post season travel, what with the Bowl game at NYE and the Championships. That's a lot of $.

Does LSU not kick the shite out of Florida??

Florida would be better off staying home and praying for a Hurricane to make landfall.

Geaux Tigers

Exactly what I've been saying Tigers by a million.
SIAP - spread the band out. Piccolo here, drums there, tuba over there, etc. That'd be petty, but one-uppering for sure.

I left a similar comment re Aramark. That is the absolute worst food and beverage vendor. I am totally serious - I will flat out stop buying tickets to sit in a a fricking sauna to wait in line to buy over-priced bud if LSU fricks this up or allows aramark to frick it up for them. Good luck getting 100K+ folks in TS.
My wife's brother and family lives in Conway. I had no idea about the meth problem there until I read this. I've met some fine folks from there.
I've held on to my "final 4" for 2 years now. I cannot recall the last time I sat in my seats, but knowing I have them is always a nice backup.
Awesome post. I'll be in DC on a trip I'd already planned (going up there to be my nephew's confirmation sponsor). I just bought 2 tix on seat geek for Row A of section 405. I'm hoping the sightlines are good. My flight gets to DC around 3 - we check in then head right to the areana. Staying at the Conrad. What to do before the game while hanging around the arena type info would be appreciated. I'm stoked!!
We got an uphill climb for sure, with or without Will Wade. The season was really fun, but it's unlikely we can win versus excellent competition and with officiating blatantly favoring whoever, I mean whoever our opponent is. They're not even going to try to hide it. They've got it in for us boys and that's a tall order.

What does “proven you paid a player sign” literally mean to you? I am asking you to be specific.

Also, do you honestly believe that offering to pay a player is not an NCAA violation in and of itself?

The shoe companies play a much larger role in all this than we know. For our AD to suspend the coach based on a leaked wiretap devoid of context and the whole story shows a weak individual who lacks the mental fortitude to do the right thing in the face of the outrage of the day. Just like Aleva caved at Duke when those folks needed someone to have their back, Aleva is showing weakness and lack of guts. What a tool. I'm embarrassed for LSU and I graduated from the school.

Think it may the subpoena threat?

That's what I am thinking. I think Wade would be a shoe-in at the very least to be a nominee, but uncertainty with regard to the subpoena - too much smoke there to have a national coaching award winner embroiled in scandal. I hope it's nothing. The thing that really bugs me is this - how does a program make a turn to become a power school - like a KY, Duke, NC, UCLA, etc. - how do you disrupt the flow of talent to the basketball blue bloods? Wade found a way and knows how to coach and now he is being punished for it - daring to push LSU to be the best. I hope he comes out of this unscathed and our program continues its progress because it sure is a lot of fun. He's threatening to upend the status quo and quo is fighting back.
