re: UPDATED OP: 09/13/2022 Stolen boat!!!
Posted by Possum Jenkins on 8/18/20 at 11:48 am to EveryoneGetsATrophy
Read the original post about it being stolen yesterday at lunch. Had never seen lime green registration numbers on a boat before. Yesterday getting on 310 from I10 around 5:00, I was passing up a pontoon boat and thought "be some shite if it had lime green numbers". When it did, I slowed up and checked this post to confirm the numbers. Boat pulled into the race track gas station across from Hahnville High. Called BRPD and was told to call the local police. Passing up the dollar general a little further down, there were four St. Charles Sheriff Units in the parking lot. Pulled in, showed them the post, told them where the boat was, and they took off. Got a call from a St Charles detective last night confirming that it was the same boat and that the BRPD detective on the case had been contacted.
Hopefully Brusly Tiger gets it back soon.
And to answer the question of the day...
Yes, the motor was still on it.

Yeah. 80's kids spent half the day hunting each other. The other half arguing over who hit who with the imaginary bullets.
Too many "I shot you first" arguments resulted in upgrading to red ryders. I became clear who was hit first after that.

Can't go wrong with any of these. There is also Cinclare across the street from Peppers/Piazza.

Where was this? I'm guessing not Louisiana due to every third tube not having a cooler of beer in it.

re: FFP vs SFP scopes
Posted by Possum Jenkins on 1/29/18 at 9:24 am to LSUlefty
The FFP is great as far as not having to worry about magnification settings. As you zoom the reticle spacing stays constant. (I prefer FFP) The only downside to me is as a result of the reticle expanding with zoom, the actual lines of the reticle expand also and are not as fine at max power as they are at the min power setting. Some long range target shooters prefer SFP scopes because it lets them get finer detail on reticle placement.

Replying to TigerRob. I have a pair of the JBL-LSR305 speakers on stands as my computer speakers. I was not disappointed with the purchase and they are overkill for what I need them for. I included the matching JBL sub since I bought the 305's. If I would do it again, I would strongly consider getting the larger ones (308's I think) without the sub.

One of the problems I've had with mine is the hole in the grease channel will sometimes cause grease to miss the drip tray, mostly while cleaning. Bought this from amazon and has worked well since. drip tray extension

Normally the pastas I've seen the most are penne, fusilli and bow tie but the best pastalaya I have ever eaten was made with pasta shells

I usually buy the 8" non-sticks from Sam's for just over $10 and throw them away when they get scratched. It will happen sooner or later, so I don't spend a ton on non-stick. They hold up well for the price.
