If any number deserves retirement it is someone who: 1. Won a Heisman, and 2. Also won a national championship. Cannon and Burrow meet that category. I’m ok if nobody ever wears #20 and #9 again.

“Lacy was arguing with a family member shortly after 11 p.m. Saturday right before he pulled out a gun and shot it at the ground. Documents say Lacy's family member called law enforcement as he got in his vehicle and left.
A constable spotted Lacy around 11:30 p.m. driving and attempted to stop his car. Deputies said Lacy refused to stop and was chased for several miles before crashing.
A report from the Harris County Sheriff's Office says that when deputies walked up to Lacy's vehicle to take him into custody, they didn't realize he shot himself during the pursuit and before the crash”
Killed himself while being chased by cops. Wow.
