From reading the article, I wasn't able to find out the kid's name. They referred to him as "the baby" .

Just PCS’d to Ft Sam, apart from those courses on JBSA, what are some courses that aren’t too pricey?
Keep in mind I’m E4 with a family of 5. Can’t really swing those extreme high end courses

My SIL is 28 and if what she is telling us is true, her son will be a dad within 9 months.
She had him at 14 and he “may” be a father by next summer-ish

When I was in Afghanistan I worked under General Miller, who was at one time the CO of Delta. The man was as much of a badass as I've ever met. He was also one of the ground forces commanders during the Battle of Mogadishu.
No, I am not delta, nor any special operations. Simply an army IT guy. But had the chance to shake the hands of that gentleman while I was out there.

Pakistan has some beautiful places from what I can tell, but the political situation there is abysmal. No way would I want to go visit anywhere near there on my own free will.
Similar to plenty of the ancient areas in that part of the world. Beautiful scenery, but not the best place to visit. Afghanistan, for example, is a beautiful country that any American or Westerner would be insane to visit.
