Duke is looking pretty bad up here picking on weak opponents.
Word is getting around North America how good Carleton is and how chickensh.. Duke looks dodging them.

Carleton bballers beat Maryland Eastern Shore Tuesday night 98-55 making it five straight victories against NCAA competition this August.
Closest games were Cincinnati and Ole Miss with losses of 19 points. South Dakota State was crushed 113-51.

SDS again on Sunday afternoon and then Maryland Eastern Shore Monday night.
Then tournaments and regular season and then next August NCAA again.
It has been an enjoyable exhibition series.

I said that Carleton dominated Ole Miss in those three ways previously but one of your fellow SEC Ranters thought I was full of maple syrup.
So Carleton obviously won big and dominated but I was having fun with the Ranter who said I was mistaken previously....

There's always been controversy and political dissent in sports. That's not the reason.
It's because the NFL has become boring.
They have a product. The public doesn't want it.
It's the reason I rarely watch.

One other thing that might be of interest.
Carleton plays its home games at the Ravens Nest which holds only about 2,000 people.
The ticket price of each NCAA game is $11 Cdn. which is the same price as regular season games.
Explain to me how the Ravens can beat huge NCAA programs with a 2,...

Ravens have three games left against NCAA.
Two against South Dakota State and one against Maryland Eastern Shore.
Should be fun to watch and to compare those teams with the Bearcats and Ole Miss....

That's correct despite Carleton Ravens coach Dave Smart putting in a big effort to get Duke to play in Ottawa.
U.S. coaches are reluctant to play Carleton because it is an outstanding program that has won 13 of 16 national championships and usually wins about five of six from NCAA games played ea...

It is interesting to see how basketball has become such an international sport (your Italian friends might be a bit of an exception).
In Canada here when I was young, NHL teams were almost exclusively Canadian. Now Canadians make up about half a team's roster.

The top ticket price for the Carleton-Alabama game in Ottawa, Canada was $15 cdn.
