No it is not correctable. Yea, Auburn sucks but honestly have not paid too much attention with everything going on. NIL killed my interest anyway
No, its a genetic syndrome called wolfram. Very rare and odd that it didnt affect my vision until i was 40. Referred to a new genetic dr at uab and waiting on appt

Just wanted to give the few folks who remembered me from few years ago an update. Everyone was very helpful back then. Dealing with this is tough but i do appreciate the kind words.

Youre right, i should'nt be on disability for this. I dont know what the SSA was thinking when they approved me so quick but make most people appeal atleast once.
Yes, i have "black areas' and every thing else is pretty much severely out of focus. Peripheral and depth perception are almost non existent.

Driving is obviously not an option. My career for the last 20 years has consisted of heavy machinery so safety is a bit of a concern.
Sorry i should have been more clear but i am obviously not completely blind. I have 20/250 vision in my "good eye".
For anyone who may remember my situation from a couple years ago, i wanted to update. After becoming "legally blind" my vision continues to deteriorate due to a genetic syndrome that has "ate up" my optical nerve. Really nothing can be done to treat the condition and drs are not sure how bad it could get. I was surprisingly approved for disability at 40 years old within months. Not something im proud of but every thing helps i guess. Luckily my wife kicks arse (no pics) and has a good gig. Definitely hard to deal with from the "providers" point of view but i am thankful. I appreciate everyones advice in the beginning

I havnt dove into the actual propulsion outside of what Lazar has talked about. Most of it is way above my head so pretty much just went with whatever Lazar said. Thanks for the new rabbit hole though,. Cheers
The new Lazar film S4 is pretty good if you havnt seen it.
It hasn't changed since 89 which is what kind of 'sucked me in'
After going down the area51/S4 rabbit hole a few years ago, i have actually started digging deeper and believe most of what he says
Wish they would just come out and say " Bob Lazar" is telling the truth.

As some of you may remember, being 40 and going blind does indeed suck. That being said, i still choose life.
