This is a point that isn't brought up enough. My primary reason for waiting until I was 70 was that I did not need the money. But the above was another consideration. My wife is younger than I am and, on average, women live longer than men I wanted her to continue to collect the highest amount possible.

Another small consideration is cost of living adjustment. For example, consider that you can collect $30,000 at age 66 or about $40,000 at age 70. Let's assume a COL of 2.0% every year. 2% of $40,000 is more than a 2% increase of $30,000. And the following year a 2% increase on $40,800 is more than a 2% increase on $30,600. And so on and so on for every year you and / or your spouse stay alive. The tradeoff, of course, is that the person that takes retirement at 66 will collect more than $120,000 in the four years that I waited.
and there it is!!!!!!!!!
Love the rabbit but I'd settle for a sac fly here

Ugliest inning I can remember.
I want some of what the trainer gave Dardar!
Roths are 100% stock ETFs.

Traditional IRAs about 60/40 % stock ETFs and, bond ETFs and mutual funds.
.
Trading (gambling, fun) account is currently about 6% cash, zero bonds, and the rest a combination of individual stocks, and a little bit of stock ETFs.

My wife and I are retired so our IRAs are set except for occasional rebalancing and annual RMDs. I don't like to play the market with retirement funds and have done well with maxi them out as best we could.
VTI has a great track record and have it in my Roth IRA. But I am not adding because I'm retired and have no "earned" income.

I'm adding share weekly in RAUS:
The investment seeks to track the total return performance, before fees and expenses, of the RACWI U.S. Index. The fund uses a “passive management” approach to seek to track the total return performance, before fees and expenses, of the index. The index is comprised of U.S. listed companies selected based on a proprietary methodology developed and maintained by RAFI Indices, LLC. The index was created to provide exposure to U.S. listed companies based on a fundamental value factor instead of market capitalization alone. The fund is non-diversified.
I seem to remember in February of March of 2009 you thought we hit the bottom. Do you remember? You were right.

Seeing "Western " in this conversation brought back a memory and a smile. Eddie Chiles used to advertise, "If you don't own an oil well buy one. You'll love doing business with Western". Yeah, like I could just go out and get an oil well. Apologize for getting off topic.

Checking the box score for the Texas Rangers - San Diego baseball game. In the 5th inning Josh Smith is 1 for 1 at bats, 2 runs, 5 RBI and 3 base on balls.

but when are yall considering selling?
Current thinking is to hold on until long term capital gains come into play. So for me at least August. When it gets listed on NASDQ and if the price really takes off, I will consider laddering some stop loses.

Haven't been paying attention today, out of town helping a family member. I checked this evening and HGRAF is close to 10% of my trading account. I'm uncomfortable when any one stock gets to that level, but...... I may have to make an exception.
Edge wasn't working. I had this problem before. Now can get in with a new browser.
Thanks. I just checked it again and still get that messsage. I'll have to give them a call if my information isn't available by tomorrow morning.
Anyone getting this message when you log into your Fidelity account?

We're sorry, positions information is temporarily unavailable. We're urgently working to restore service.

How? Isn’t this not available for premarket since it’s not listed l?

I trade on Fidelity. Premarket it doesn't show a dollar amount price, but it does show a premarket percentage. So, you can do the math based on yesterday's closing price.

Go down to "Management Information Circular" and click on the PDF under 2026

Go down to section 6 which for my format is on page 24

I tried to cut and paste but it was too many characters. Hope this works.
