Kemp's balls are showing.... big and beautiful
Mass as well, but thankfully im essential.

My coworker just got her stimulus. Hopefully that will come through and bridge the gap. hang in there.

I enjoyed it,

F the haters. Bob Dylan is an acquired taste and believe me, amongst 95% of my friends they all hate him.

Don't make excuses. If its not for some people, its not for some people.

Sit and enjoy.
I actually hear it was closer to 18k with H1N1.

But I do not think Trump will get the leniency that past presidents got from the CDC. Every person will be accounted for here in real time.
If it hits H1N1 numbers.

60 million infected
260k hospitalized
12000 dead

Only then will I take any of this more serious. Because the talking heads didn't give a good god damn about H1N1.
He actually hid the fact that he was a transitioned male for the contest in question.

It later came out, and he was actually beat handedly by a female, Ashlee Evans Smith.

Who coincidentally used to fight on the mens wrestling team in high school to challenge herself.
That is my biggest concern with my Roth. Current day democrats would not bat an eye at the proposition, and the future ones will be worse.

I am honestly hoping for gridlock at worst. I'd love to see the country move in a more fiscal conservative direction. But ive pretty much given up hope. No one wants to touch entitlement programs. its the third rail for politicians. Thats why I want Trump to get in for one more term, and jump on that fricker.

We are screwed unless we reel in spending. I'm trying to diversify more. I'm stopping just shy of stuffing gold Krugerrands in my mattress for the time being.
Gotcha, and I agree.

I think thats also worth noting for the thread.

6k max is for either or, accounts combined.

Personally, if I had a company match I would take full advantage of it and load it into a traditional IRA and get a pay increase, and anything under 6k for those contributions i'd toss in my roth IRA to max out my contributions.

But Regarding the OP (not the replied to post), I do not think they have the slightest clue how IRA's or Roth IRA's work.

Gains are tax free, but the contributions are taxed.

Traditional IRA people, are able to shave income, and lower their initial taxes for the year (The contributions, don't count against their income) Plus they get more money up front to "put to work" for them.

I think its a fair trade off.
What exactly is your issue?

I am invested almost entirely in a roth IRA. I have already paid taxes on my contributions. People in regular IRA's contribute pre tax.

I'm banking on the hope, that my taxes are lower now, than they will be in 30 years when I need to start withdrawing. So I have paid the taxes up front.

Its a risk, but with the direction our country is headed I don't see anyway our taxes will be lower in 2050. If they are lower, well I miss caculated, and thats on me, I don't owe any more (again, its been taxed already) but I would have been wiser to have gone the route of a traditional IRA and not paid taxes on my contributions.

I also like the flexibility with a roth IRA, where I can withdraw any contributions without penalty (again i've already paid taxes on those funds). A traditional IRA you get hit with a penalty if you withdraw prior to turning 59.5.

DO you understand how a roth actually works? No one can just transfer pre tax IRA contributions to a roth IRA and get out without paying taxes. They will get hit with a penalty, and have to pay taxes on that money upon transfer.

They have held 3 impeachment votes already.

58 voted yes for Saying "get them the hell off the field".

65 voted to impeach for saying "$#!thole countries".

and 90+ voted to impeach for dissing the squad on twitter.

I don't know who's dumber, the dems, or the people voting for them... (ok I know who is dumber) But they are losing all but the very dumbest voters with crap like this.

Their base is going to consist solely on the people relying on handouts after this is all said and done.
Since you may have glossed over it, i'll ask again.

Do you think there is any correlation that maybe Zelensky taking office in May of 2019, led to her firing in May of 2019?
She had a good relationship with the prior president of Ukraine. So Trump probably left well enough alone.

Once the new Ukrainian president came into the fold, and voiced his displeasure with her and her role as ambassador it set the ball in motion.

Are you aware when Zelensky was elected and took office? Pretty obvious to me the reason for her firing.

Do you think there is any correlation that maybe Zelensky taking office in May of 2019, led to her firing in May of 2019? Really not that hard to connect the dots.
Mueller was definitely a bigger flop, that witch hunt went of for 2 years and you still have people like Tigerdoc refusing to let go.

This was a clown show from the start, anyone who followed knew they didn't have anything here. Trump cut their legs off by releasing the transcript from the jump.

If anything, the fact that they changed the rules, and basically made up the game as this went along. With Schiff for brains controlling all aspects of this clown show and they still couldn't make Trump look bad had to be frustrating.

But the 2 year Russia hoax was the bigger flop. Them pivoting right to this has to be setting in for the American public that these do nothing dems will grasp for anything at this point.
The far left ran on one thing in 2018.

impeach trump. They had nothing else. If these people do not make good on that single promise, they will not get voters to the ballot box to pull the lever for them again. After 2 years with NOTHING to show for it.

Consequently, dems in more moderate districts see it as a negative because it gonna rile up the conservative base and push logical moderates and independents to vote for Trump, and vote R's into office to counter this bull$#!T.

Without 2/3rds of the Senate they have 0 shot at impeachment. It's a pipe dream. The Smarter rank and file see this, and are trying to win elections (Pelosi in paticular) But that radicals are running the show over there.

Impeachment talk at this point is a win/win situation for Trump and Republicans in my honest opinion.

I saw where she won "uncontested". So no one on republican side challenged her? What exactly does that mean?

Political races are not free, or cheap.

No Republican is going to even bother running a campaign in her solid blue district. Its actually very common for people to run unopposed in districts like this.
Is that even what really happened?

The police used those resources and actually found the people that assaulted him. I'd say it pretty good police work. The brothers rolled on him and made the case against him, providing dates, times, and whereabouts that used minimal resources after that. The resources were already squandered. Chicagoans deserve a conclusion to the case.

Toasting the democrat side of the aisle at the State of the Union address.

re: Obamacare has been stopped

It really depends if insurance carriers go back to offering individual plans.

This past year you could not buy one. There were 4 types of plans offered (at least in Massachusetts) Employer plans, medicare, medicaid, and health connector (obamacare) those were the only options.

I am on Obamacare, because I work for a small company that does not offer insurance (I do get a 2500 reimbursement for insurance from my company). If I wanted health insurance in my state this year, I had to sign up for obamacare.

Open enrollment was already underway by the time the mandate was repealed. I really hope they offer individual plans like they did prior to the health connector going into place now that there is no mandate.

But I got a cheap plan Bronze 250 a month and a 2750 deductible, to cover me for catastrophic. Better than the silver and gold counterparts with 450 / 600 dollar premiums, and 2000/1000 respective deductibles. But i'm 36 and in pretty good shape and only go to preventative care (1 physical, 2 dental cleaning yearly and an eye appointment every other year) So thats what i'm rolling with. I will drop it if they offer individual plans again in my state.
I have one simple question.

Do you know what the corporate tax rates are in countries with competing industries?

The world average is 22.5% Companies that were looking elsewhere to set up headquarters are now staying put, and companies like Broadcom are coming back. This day in age with technology where it is, companies can compete on the global market from anywhere. Nothing is stopping companies from packing up and moving out, and having the highest corporate tax rate in the world just encourages it.

Now we are in a better position to keep companies in place, and lure additional companies. Those jobs are what helps Joe and Jane. Pretty sure the last guy told Joe and Jane to go **** themselves. A bit more eloquently of course, "Your jobs aren't coming back" "Does Trump have a magic wand"

These tax cuts went into place 5 months ago. I'm not sure what kind of results you were expecting in that short of a clip. But if you can actually get your eye on the ball, and see the long term game going on here, you can set up realistic expectations.
