re: Two new Acronyms for you.. AMAB and AFAB
Posted by grayson88 on 6/7/23 at 9:16 pm
The acronyms usually apply to children born with intersex conditions or ambiguous genitalia. Not all babies are obviously biologically male or female. Some show outer genitalia different from chromosomal sex. In these cases parents choose the gender they want to raise the child as. It's not anything...
re: I knew my insurance sucked, but I'm really seeing how much it sucks now that I need it

I find it funny that throughout this thread people are mad at Obama, but never say anything about the companies that made the plans. These insurance executives make 40 million a year. They are the ones at fault....
re: Arkansas detention center doctor is treating COVID positive inmates with Ivermectin

Do you think the doctor who treats the prisoners on Arkansas had a bunch of other top job offers and decided to go work with prisoners? Or could it be more likely that it was someone who struggled in training or possibly had legal or ethical trouble? These jobs tend to be jobs of last resort for phy...

re: How long will you wait on a Dr. before leaving?
Posted by grayson88 on 5/5/21 at 9:39 am
My clinic is regularly an hour behind. The reason I double and triple book is so patients can see me when they need to see me. I always accept add on. I have partners who run on time but have a 3 month wait to get in. If your hurting you need to be seen. Two sides to the story....
re: Stanford study says masks are ineffective, have devastating health consequences

Lets stop calling this a study. This is a single author selectove review of literature in a lesser known medical journal with an unknown peer review process. This is poor quality medical evidence and should not be used to base any policy recommendations.

I think a lot of the responses have been very good. I am going to give my opinion as an orthopedic surgeon who has previously had anterior knee pain issues and worked with one of the barbell medicine guys in his home gym to overcome it. Also I am a huge believer in strength and resistance training t...

re: Are there some categories that do not apply to addiction?
