We blew an ANFO charge in a duck pond trying to enlarge it. Blew marsh, nutria and bass all over the place. Most fell back into the hole.

Myself and one of Charlie’s captains were buddies. I could stowaway anytime I wanted with them.
We would fish mangroves off of the front deck closer to the legs on the surface. Clients would fish red snapper off of stern on the legs close to bottom.

No, probably meant he has his own tent with AC, at $33/night that means he just rented one of the RV spots to have electricity. The primative tent spots on the beach sites are $18/night.
Correct. I bought a 8-10 person tent from Amazon. Rented an RV spot. You get water and electricity. Hooked up a 10,000 BTU Portable. High cotton.

Just spent a week at GISP in a tent. With A/C. Very nice. Clean. Nice folks. I’d drive to the crossovers to get to the to the beach. 33.00 per night.

Good Morning.
I’m heading to Grand Isle to deckhand for Armymann50. My son built him an LED underwater light to search for flounders. With enough batteries to flounder hunt from Caminada to Belle Pass.

Yall remember when this almost failed and the Mississippi River came damn close to rerouting? Yea, we arent using this either.

Utilization of the Old River control structure for diversion of flood waters prior to reaching the Bonnet Carré
1973. The structure almost failed because it couldn’t handle the volume. It’s why the auxiliary structure was built.
I was on the structure in 1973. The whole massive thing was shaking. Water all around. Mr Simoneaux ( the USACE boss on the structure) would ask. “Have you ever heard of Murphy’s Law ? Fricking Murphy lives here. “
