He's a Mormon. He don't fit in around here. I say he goes back home but to Utah to stick it to BYU

I think what your going to see is McCarthy stay on staff til after the bowl game. In that time Tolberts season with the bills and maybe his future at Buffalo will be decided upon the hiring of a new coach up there That timeline will be early January
Miles is big on this 2009 staff needs to be together for all the games. Example
"It's not where you work," Miles said. "This is a team. Larry Porter is a part of the '09 team."

Well, I know ROJO and Colbert are 6"1 at least and Kareem Kelly I believe was not recruited by Malibu Pete. Lol sorry go ahead with Spike Miles. Lol
anyway. To me Petey likes his WRs 6"4 210 with 4.7 speed. Then he likes the smaller version WR in the Damian Williams mold. 6"1 and a great route runner
Steve Smith was trremendous at SC, but he is the exception IMO rather than the rule at SC

To me those all are just bodies
Clement will be moved to TE so DeAngelo Peterson can move to WR
Brockers has moved inside
Pep has been mediocre
Aghayare is young but hasn't shown anything
Bennie Logan And Montgomery haven't played yet so there ability is still up in the air from a fans perspective. But I wonder how the coaches feel about them
Edwards is the only one who has shown the ability to make plays so far from this group
So you have one and a half ( pep) players for the group next year
EGO will play both DE and DT his first year here, kinda how Dorsey did
Grissom is a homebody. Expect him to stay there
Lemonier is a Nole lock. And as soon as they hire a DC he will commit within time
Justin Parker is a name to watch. He's Been told he will be used exactly how K Shep has been used. Blitzing outside. Playing OLB as well as MLB

How many 5"11 WRs have there been under Carroll at SC ?
Dillon Baxter, Michael Dyer and Lache....
Posted by fearthehat on 12/8/09 at 1:51 pm
Is it really realistic that Auburn or USC could conceivably be able to sign another 5 star running back in the exact same mold as their current commit that they already have...
Also LSU is drastically closer to Lache geographically

Obu Dan. Both are great players having great years. But in my mind a top flight Dend is tougher on a offense than a DB. Just my opinion
but to say he HAS to be NFL MVP is wrong. Jared Allen has just as good an argument
plus his team has DOMINATED the Pack this year

Justin Hunter isn't going anywhere...
Jarrett Fobbs is a pain right now, looks like he wishes to stay with A&M
Trovon Reed will eventually see the light and play for LSU
James Wright to Texas Tech

Crowton to Utah, to stick it to BYU for firing him.

URBAN MEYER IS NOT LEAVING FLORIDA, WHAT DON'T PEOPLE UNDERSTAND ABOUT THIS
PROOF: HE IS NOT GOING TO LEAVE TIMMY STRANDED IN HIS LAST GAME EVER AT THE UNIVERSITY OF FLORIDA
For Meyer to take the ND job he would have to leave right now, or in the coming weeks.
Now if it gets around January 1st and Notre Dame still hasn't hired a football coach, then speculate
But as for now Meyer would not leave Timmy right before Timmy's last game at UF

Lsubutt
Jai Eugene is freaking horrible. The staff knows this. He will soon be regressed to a strictly special teams player
hate to bash a kid like that. But he just cant play the position

I'm really interested to see the amount of plating time these two will receive in the bowl game
Mo Claiborne undoubtedly in my mind will a starter next year or at the very least be rotated with Jai. I for one hope Les decides to give this kid some experience in big time football action. I really hope Les decides to rotate him and CH for the bowl game
Rueben will be a major contributor in the passing game next year. I'm sure PSUs staff will be focusing on TT and BL and not as much on RR He should have plenty of opportunities to make plays over the middle and on double moves down the field.
What are you guys expectations ?

re: What is the logic of "common opponents"?
Posted by fearthehat on 12/6/09 at 5:16 pm
Ole Miss insisted that they did not want to lose their annual "rivalry" game with Vandy...Thus the SEC decided to oblige them, and gave them Vandy every year to play, LSU to play Florida, Miss St vs Kentucky etc etc
Is Les Miles press conference on t.v today ?
Posted by fearthehat on 12/6/09 at 12:26 pm
With the announcement of the bowl and the potential hiring and firing of potential, I was wondering if anyone knew if the press conference will be covered by someone today ? Radio ?
