I believe he played with Homa a few years ago and they were nearly DFL.
Ah.
Morikawa always played like arse at the Zurich anyway.

Have to hope the Fitzpatricks come back. Justin Rose used to be a Zürich ambassador. I’m not sure if he still is. I don’t remember the last time he played.
Rose played with Henrik Stenson last I recall maybe 2021-22ish.
I think the only Zurich sponsored guys are Theegala, Morikawa, and Horschel.
Just google'd it.....looks like they added Lowry and Ben Griffin too this past January so that is why Lowry is back without Rory.

Most top guys outside of Tiger have made at least one stop.
JT, Speith, Rahm, Bryson, Scottie, Rory, etc have all played in the team event.
Two weeks after the Masters, one week after a Sig event, and then followed by two more Sig events make it an easy week to skip.

Disappointing but by no means surprising that Rory isn’t playing. He was undoubtedly the reason for the record crowds the last few years.
The Zurich is just in an awful spot on the schedule to attract top guys.
I imagine Lowry/Brooks will basically be the headliner group. Morikawa as a Zurich guy will be there as well.

I really don’t get the Foreplay hate. It doesn’t pretend to be something other than what it is. They are a bunch of normal dudes who talk golf and don’t act as know-it-alls like NLU does. Adding Kisner was a great move as well.
Riggs is a great interviewer as well. The hourlong pod they just did with Ludvig was awesome.

Probably could have got some nice live odds on UConn when Duke went up 4 lol

NLU is great for tournament previews and recaps. My only gripe is that they come off as very smug sometimes.
Smylie's podcast is great and so is Knost's.

Because of the way Robbie played the hand and some inconsistencies in what she said afterwards, the only realistic explanations were cheating or a misread hand.

Also, what triggers the red stop bar lights to be on or off? My understanding is that they are controlled by ATC. If ATC gave the truck the go head then they would have turned off the lights right?
Runway status lights are not controlled by ATC. They detect when an aircraft is landing/taking off/crossing, etc and turn red on their own.
Also it’s possible that the CRJ was on the local control frequency and the ARFF truck was on ground frequency. The controller was transmitting on both but the jet and vehicle might not have heard each other.

Not entirely true. The Runway Status Warnings Lights system was working last night at LGA. You can see them in the video of the crash. Basically runway edge lights will turn red if a runway is occupied. It is standard practice for vehicles/aircraft to question an ATC crossing instruction if the lights are red. Didn't happen here.
You aren't alone brother.
Its not on that graphic but his wine selections are as good as it gets.

Agree on the OSU bad hires. They stuck with Holtmann for too long and so far Diebler has been underwhelming.
Neither has the recruiting ability that Matta had.

I was there yesterday following the Fitz/Cam group for the entire 18 holes. The booing was nothing really at all and has been really blown out of proportion. Other than an insane amount of SEC frat bro’s in attendance it was a really good crowd. Even Fitz said it was no big deal.

The good food is only on #17 and #18
#8 was hamburgers/hotdogs/ice cream. And also another open bar.

Best of Zurich comes with 10 or so samples from various New Orleans restaurants.
The Walkons is bar food and has its own spot on #17 green.
Both have open bar.

This looks like it may be the early 2000's level of comedy this country has sorely missed over the past decade plus.
