You really think this isn’t gonna involve a search committee and multiple interviews? Don’t start looking for a replacement until around Thanksgiving when we have a pretty good idea who is going to the playoffs, but before the transporter (I know it’s Portal - I like Transporter) window opens

You’re giving no consideration to the impact of continuity on a program. Look at Nick’s numbers his first four years at Bama and compare them too his time at LSU. What LSU generally lacks is the value of longer term coaching stability.

We understand that it would cost a fortune to buy out Kelly’s contract. And I’m sure most die hard fans would be willing to contribute something reasonable. If everyone will Venmo $10 to me, I’ll pick up some beer and a few lottery tickets and maybe we’ll get lucky. Seems as likely as anything else. Who is in?

Kelly says everyone is happy, attitude is great, injuries at a minimum, all the guys are driving the vehicles of their choice, the players all have a bunch of big arse gold chains to wear and the food is fantastic.

Maybe we can’t afford a $50M buyout. But call Penn State and offer to pay $25M of the contract if they take Kelly off our hands.
