[quote]Any good Manhattan and Old Fashion recipes?[/quote
It’s basically two to one
Two shots of bourbon preferably something with a good bit of rye and 1 shot of sweet vermouth and add a couple of black cherries and your good
If you have weak women do 1-1 ratio
This is the Manhattan

That’s funny. When I get something I don’t care for I make guests mainly women manhattans that sweet vermouth disguises almost anything and they absolutely love them.

I’m assuming the you are asking about the Weller SR it’s 1.75 liter bottles I have 2.

The bardstown is ok but the holladay soft red wheat rick house proof is absolutely worth every penny

In comparison to the Weller SR i absolutely love Old Emmer Finest wheat I think is 96 proof but I’m a huge fan of the baking spice which serves as a bite which Weller SR doesn’t have.. try it that’s all I can say.

I literally have a gallon of Weller SR that I got traveling through another state. I hate they way the stores in Louisiana and distributors are treating people in Louisiana with regards to the allocated bourbon. It’s bullshite buy my store pick and that gets you a ticket into a raffle for the right to purchase allocated bourbon.. to hell with that.. I love the Weller full proof but to be honest the old emmer finest wheat at total wine is better than Weller SR

If it’s not Weller special reserve than it’s Weller full proof the ones in between are not worth it. Just my opinion
