Profanity in Tiger Stadium
quote:
It does not happen in the "Red Zone". My kids and I have sat there ever since it was built and we have a great group of families around us. Not to say that the occasional idiot doesn't pipe up every now and then, but don't lump Razorback Stadium in as an offender because that's just not the way it is!
Oh, yes, the people of Arkansas are so elevated and refined that nary a curse word escapes their blessed lips during the time that their beloved Hogs are on the gridiron. Why, I've heard that Jesus once sat in the Red Zone. The Pope has been known to watch videos of games in Fayetteville to learn the niceties of civilized interaction. What's most amazing is that this paragon of cordiality comes from a fan base that cheers on its wholesome boys by squealing...like a pig.
Sorry, I forgot this problem is unique to you LSU fans.
And it's 4 wins in the last 10 years. We won in 2000 and 2010 hasn't been played yet. Yes, I'll admit LSU has 2 more wins than us in the last 10meetings. That's a whole 2 games!

Been there, done that. The goal posts stay!

Edit: Sorry guys I was replying to an idiot Razorback fan (yes, we have a few) that said DWRRS was full of fans that can't watch their mouths. Just not true for the most part.

I don't recall hearing Bobby F'n Petrino say the number of games he was going to win. I heard him say we would win more games, meaning more than 8. If he did say "at least 10 wins" he is opening himself up to being ridiculed if he drops a couple of games which when you play in the SEC could happen to ANY and I mean ANY team. Not that I am not with you my fellow Hog fan but to win ten or more is going to be tough, but not impossible.
I used to put a lot of stock in Rivals Rankings, but in the past few years I have been looking back at how players were rated at the end of the season. There usually is a big difference. Of course I would feel better if we had the #1 class but noone will know for sure until it's all laid out there on the feild. Brandon Burlsworth is a great example. A walk on at AR and was drafted into the NFL. Unless we have a bottom 20 class I think I'll trust that Bobby knows best.....for this year anyway.....

I will root for LSU only when they play out of conference and would hope you would do the same for any SEC team. I have great respect from where the Saints came from. I can remember Saints fans showing up to the Super Dome with paper bags on their heads calling themselves the aints. Also to come back so quick after such a horrific event as Katrina. Dude just take the congrats and move on. I'm not here to smack talk.
Congrats to The Who Dat Nation!

I just wanted to wish all of you Saints fans congrats. I was pulling for ya'll. What a great day to be a Saints fan. It really goes to show you what NO and LA are made of. After Katrina most of the national pundints said that it was over for NO and the Saints, but today the character of the Who Dat Nation shinned through showing that NO and the Saints have made it to the other side, which was no easy feat as most folks in NO and LA already know. Congrats again. I am really proud for you. May God continue to bless the people of your great state. :usa:
Sorry guys, I just now noticed the Super Bowl board. We in Arkansas don't have those and most likely never will. Mods feel free to move this if you want.

I have been lurking around here off and on for about a year and I have a question. Why is Les Miles called "The Hat" by you folks. Thanks in advance. Not important, but the curiosity is killing me!

I'm offended! Regaurdless of Skinner's warm up routine he could plant the ball on the one 8 out of 10 times. Besides I think it's cool. Go ahead slam me! I can take it! WPS!!!!!!!!!
