While I don't think the EC is that great of a system, it is the rules. Axlerod is right. Country would go to shite if they change the results. Just need to make a better voting system eventually

If you read the link, you would see that they did this poll on Dems too. Many were also ignorant of how the election went. That said, the % wrong on the Republican side was quite a bit higher.

Not really being sarcastic. It is a good channel. BBC is a very slick, professional channel. Wish ours over here could at least pretend to be a little more impartial

Went by a certain beef jerky gift store the other day and grabbed a few bags as Christmas gifts. Kangaroo and elk. Got to sample a few of the beef jerky and a couple of the flavors were pretty good. Had some outback flavor that was tasty. Anyone else a jerky fan?

Hmm this keeps being posted. I think both sides see that it's an outdated system. When farmer Rick's vote in Wyoming carries 10X the power per electoral vote than your average Joe Blow in California, there is an issue. EVEN IF CALIFORNIA IS IN A BUBBLE you can't just discount their vote.

The problem isn't just that it's rising or falling, it's the rate at which it's changing that is alarming. It's at unforeseen levels. What's one difference between this era and past warmings: man and major amounts of carbon being pumped into the atmosphere.
