He is the best coach in all time Saints history. Not even debatable. But true the Saints offense has struggles since we slowly lost great receivers and Drew. So am I wrong about the play calling or is it that we don't have players to produce anymore? I think some of both.

Arians is no coach compared to Payton. I think he is the best in putting the right players together on a team and getting the most out of them. He is also smart and will send the ones packing who he can not work with. Just feel his play calling is predictable a lot of times.

Agree with you. I see a new Jameis developed who is getting far too little help from the receivers. Also to run on 90% 1st and 2nd downs puts the Qb in a bind for 3rd and long far too often in Saints offense. Gotta give Jameis somthing to work with for him to excel then he will.

watching the Saints offense (even with Drew) always seemed plain/ vanilla even when we were spinning the score boards. Almost all the Saints games lost for years are games where the Saints offense stalls and does not run the clock to prevent the other team from beating us with those last scores. Does anyone else see complex motion / passing patterns and different back field line ups to confuse the defense on other NFL teams YET never from the Saints offense?

The sickening part is that some people have made him rich for his destroying the LSU football program better than someone from BAMA would have done on purpose. Hey... Should we investigate how much Coach Zereaux has gotten from the state of Alabama ?

Omar has the audacity to call "anything" dysfunctional. She invented it... Keep electing her until there is just smoke and ashes left.
re: What are the chances LSU loses out?

Clearly the team has no heart left (damned near no player either) due to so many injuries. BUT its also clear there is no leadership from top down. Well we got next year to look forward to. The players will want to play for a different coach. They still should be ashamed. You don't quit no matter how you feel about the coach or if your feelings got hurt. Men don't use those excuses so there is growing up to do also. There is always someone who teases / disrespects and or slights people. Men don't let that get you down or give up your goals. Ask Ryan Clark to pay for their tuition next time.

Don't know future. Anyone recall how Miles started? He wins game #1 at Arizona St and fired us all up. The very next week made zero 2nd half adjustments and let The Tennesse Volunteers (with ex LSU Qb Rick Clausen) defeat a much better talented LSU team. By that 2nd game I had worries about him. In all fairness he did contribute to a lot of fun times and big wins. He must have got too rich and cozy to adapt as the college game got so much more advanced and tough to win at. He was retained by LSU at least 2-3 years too long. Maybe why Coach O is shown the door so quick. Maybe LSU leaders have learned to move quick.

#1 If I had to guess where Coach Zereaux was during that march.... duh, chasing skirt or eating crawfish.
#2 Yall give him too much credit. He won the CFC and lost what mind he had. He is not smart enough to know that Orange Man was such a big mess to talk about. Its that simple.
#3 NOT racist just not intelligent.

EVERYONE you know who does not hate Orange Man is a racist! Gee you need some sane friends. Do you realize, (wait, I am NOT a supporter of Orange Man, I loath his personality and life choices) but all his life , he was the most sought after celebrity by celebrities and executives and all important people across the globe. He was a Clinton supporter and a liberal. Every talk show from Oprah to late night Tv could not wait to have him on. The media and DemOcraps turned him into an instant racist when they had no answers to his accusations they ran the country into the ground. That simple. The Dems will do the same to every GOP who run for the White House from now on with help of media. I AM INDEPENDENT for LIFE so its not a GOP think and not a racist. So can you name at least 2 things Orange Man did to hurt you? Can you name 1 thing "Sir Hope n Change" did to your benefit?

I am 100% on your train of thought. But I am also on my own wild scary train too. Anyone really awake can know that "Sir Hope n Change" been running DC (even while Trump was in office) from his high tech DC military style complex just a mile or so from the White House. If that so called 2nd or 3rd or 4th home of his was raided it is probably filled with NSA / spying and all type of equipment and probably dialed in to listen to every room in the White House. "His Majesty Barrack" is like getting gum on your shoe. It takes a lot of effort to get rid of. Hard to stop a guy who infiltrated and took over the entire justice department and even control of the Supreme Court. Anyone heard of bribery / blackmail / Clinton mafia etc... They do what they want and make others do their bidding with no fear of the law.

 You hit the nail on the head. I forgot about all of that. The money is unconscionable! They gave the last two underachievers the keys to the bank. Just HOW MUCH will a good Coach want from this apparent gold mine?!?

NOT even sure if Coach Zereaux there or not makes a difference. The whole country by now knows he blew it on and off the field. I think it would have been better to send him home but we can't know what all went on behind closed doors. Maybe the AD and higher ups think it shows LSU shows respect and loyalty even after the fall to Coaches. My GOD look how much $$$$ they sending him down the bayou with! We got to suffer thru the end and that's all we can do. Hope the players rally and at least try to show they can play even as they have made their point. They quit on the man. Who influenced them? Why? We know. ESPN and a host of other shite disturbers who hate LSU. :banghead:
re: Davenport is an elite d end

Guys, its called a TEAM for a reason. No one man can do it all. They each feed off each other. When we had a bench full of good D linemen last few years... they all looked like stars. They all benefitted from the constant swap out of D linemen to keep fresh and keep pressure on the QBs. We lost several to cap space and bigger pay checks. Plus suspensions. Thus , SAINTs QB sacks are down so far this season YET last night with a few of them back in the scheme we started getting those important sacks again. Even Cam J had been shut down because teams could double him and not fear sacks from other players. We are getting back to D line numbers at the right time in the season. It started last night. When David O hits gets back from suspension the sacks will go up again. Old SAINTs team would have collapsed in the mist and rain last night. This team found a way. A balanced dull win but a W no less.
re: Jameis played great today
Posted by truthurtsouch on 10/26/21 at 7:23 am
It is very encouraging to see Sean start to relax with Jameis doing a bit more. Even Jameis seems to have an aura around him now of a sort of mature / confident player who does not have to be THE super star or carry the weight all upon himself. I think one of Paytons greatest talents is to encourage , make player learn from mistakes and keep very few head case prima donnas. Hence the SAINTs players always talk about how they are a family and care for each other. Mike Thomas would be gone already I think if Sean thought any other team would trust taking on a problem "man child." Jameis NEEDS receivers bad. Quality receivers on the SAINTs and they would be unstoppable.
re: Jameis led us to another victory
Posted by truthurtsouch on 10/26/21 at 5:20 am
Seattle defense held us to 13 points. Clearly they shut down a lot of our runs to MAKE Jameis beat them. Jameis and Kamara teamed up to beat them mostly thru dump off passes. Good / solid / tough play by SAINTs team with weak receivers for sure. Too many dropped balls.
re: Love what Bobby said: what teams/coaching staffs should we be scared of?
Posted by truthurtsouch on 10/25/21 at 11:41 pm
YES, If we had real receivers like a lot of teams who seem to run themselves open when needed , we could then know if we have a super star level Qb. I did not want him on the SAINTs but he has proved me wrong. He seems to be committed and well adjusted to taking his time to learn and cooperate with Sean to win instead of worry about stats. I got hope for J. Winston at this time. He seems like a team player and a good young man. Thats what it really takes to win. Guys like Demario Davis to tutor and rub off on the new guys.

There is NO hate but can you really condone what he and others pulled off.? Can you deny they went after Coach Zereaux and caused more harm than good. No one thinks Coach O has a racist bone except the gullible and woke haters out there. Now (Ryan at times appears like he could be one) if a man , any man slips up and he says something off , they go straight for the jugular. Cancel culture is going to back fire on all of us as good people get caught in the madness. Its going on all over. Coach Zereaux clearly went off the rails and did not do his job BUT he did not deserve to be branded and lose his team by people making young men think he is a racist simply cause he says a POTUS is doing an ok job!? The cancel culture is piling up victims (black and white) almost daily and its a tragedy.
