I just recently left my job for a very lucrative opportunity. About 3 and a half weeks ahead of me making the jump, I get a call from my boss on the weekend….. his boss had been contacted by a real estate agent who could have potentially handled my relocation. I guess they had ties.
So yeah, luckily I was pretty well regarded so there was no funny business, but it was highly unprofessional. So input in my notice early and worked my time out.
