Fyi. Yesterday we had lunch at Sazon Latin Grill and at the table across the way, two younger fellas both said "Could I get xxx" or "can I have xxx" and my wife commented that makes no sense.
We went many years ago. Four islands, four nights on each. Used Aloha and Hawaiian airline to jump between islands. Maui and Kauai were probably our favorites, but Hawaii was good too and the beaches of Oahu were worth the time, especially along the east coast. Of course, things have changed over the years with development and crowds.

The Baton Rouge episodes aired last spring (April/May). It's still open. Never eaten the cheesecake appetizer there, but it's probably similar to the same dish served at Ruffino's (I've eaten that version). Their food is generally good, standard seafood and po'boys/sandwiches.

It's been ages since i made wine, always from kits. I tried several different kits and quality definitely tracked with cost and I seemed to have better luck with Australian and Washington sourced juice. I think the first couple kits were bought from Jim Waits when he had the homebrew shop on Wooddale, afterwards I bought kits from Austin Homebrew and Midwest (?). As mentioned by the previous poster, quality of whites was generally better than reds. I remember buying on kit of Zinfandel where the result looked more like a rose'.

Crawfish this afternoon after snacking while we waited. So that was dinner.
After hearing about Marry Me Chicken and other recipes. I looked up different recipes and picked one I could easily scale for two serving. Whoever named this must have a low threshold for bride or husband cooking prowess. It was good, but nothing extraordinary.

Those are normal winter closings. The Rim Road closes for winter and only the southern Main entrance is open. That closes when storms hit until the road can be plowed.
OP: How much time do you have? Redwood is spread out along the coast. There are a variety of trails, several that go along the coast. You can see most of Crater Lake in a day. Just depends on how much hiking you want to do. As someone mentioned, Bend is well worth a visit too.
