Exactly. But the problem is, patrino didnt understand that.
Miles simply made it a 4 possession game intead of 3.
Meaning; its big boy football. 60 fricking minutes!
And I'm okay with that...play defense and the offense doesn't score.

Petrino is a piece of crap. It is that easy to explain. I would be ashamed if he was my coach, seriously. Saban is a saint compared to him, in my opinion.
You may question the man's coaching style and how he handles himself on the field, but after his speech about Uekman and how he handled that situation and the amount of money he donated to the Arkansas' Children's Hospital this year, I do not believe he is a bad man.

You guys moving to the Mountain West?
I think Petrino and Miles are 2-2 against each other...I think it's just getting started.

As previously mentioned, if you want to line up in base, we'll line up and run. If you want to blitz corners and backers, we're going to throw on you. This wasn't the end of our season. We aren't going to spend the last 10 minutes of the game getting stoned, running into the teeth of a blitzing defense. It's bad for morale. Get over it.
I agree...I was simply stating that as the reason that BP might have been upset.

BP is competitive...he is just ticked off from realizing he is a long long way way away from winning an MNC in Fayetteville.
We aren't there yet...that's obvious But I do think we can get there.

you mean when jefferswag RAN ALL OVER THAT PORK arse???
That was a nasty play but I do believe the drive of the FG there was a deep throw...I can't remember exactly though. That's what I think he was upset about...it doesn't matter anyway. We were done.

Stop the bullshite crying. You frickers ran the score up against MSU last week for BCS points and against UT. frick Petrino.
At what point did I cry? If you read my post you would have seen that I believe that if you can't stop the offense then they should score...

there is absolutely nothing that can be said that would be a valid excuse for petrino's behavior.
news flash: pretty much everyone that follows SEC football knows petrino is a complete tool. this isnt just LSU fans
I could really care less what opposing schools think of our coach. Your coach eats grass? Who cares. When did football become a game when everyone is supposed to be nice and sit in a circle and sing camp songs?

Petrino is full of crap. Arkansas threw TD passes when they were up 35-7 against Tennessee with 11 minutes left in the game and against frickin New Mexico when they were up 38-3 with 12 mi utes to go. He needs to shut the frick up. Plus, he is a big quitter anyway with the way ran out of Atlanta before the season was even over.
Oh the Falcon thing never gets old. I think that has been talked to death. Like I said, I don't care if an offense runs it's gameplan for the whole game...if you can't stop them than that's your own problem.
Petrino Anger and General Thoughts...

I think Bobby was more upset with the deep ball to the endzone before the FG. And if you remember, last year we could have punched one in late in the game but didn't. It doesn't matter to me...if you can't stop the other team then they deserve to score. Play better if you don't want to get embarrassed.
We're pretty good...definitely have improved over the past few years but haven't reached the upper plateau of Bama or LSU. Our skill players are there on offense (our o-line needs more experience), but our defense is way behind. We need better players...I do no think scheme is the issue.
Anyways, good game and good luck next week. I like how this game or rivalry if you will is starting to gain some steam (close games that mean something and starting to get some emotion). Have a good rest of the weekend...

Yeah, something just doesn't feel "right."

I didn't say I was just happy to be there. I expected us to win and I'm disappointed we didn't do it. I'm not one of our people who came on here and made a fool of my self - some of our fans did (not you). Which season in the past 40 years has been more exciting? It is going to be fun again next year, too.
Well I don't have 40 seasons under my belt...only 24. But the '98 run up to the UT game and the the 2006 season when we rode DMac and Felix to the SEC Championship was fun...until Fish did his thing

Thanks OP. I agree with you. This hurts and we are embarrassed to end the SEC streak. I understand the desire to put some of our obstreperous fans in their place - they deserve it. This still was the most exciting year of Hogs football I can remember (I graduated in 1976), and next year will be again. Nobody thinks the next decade is going to be a miserable as the Decade of Dale
True, but getting to the big stage means nothing to me. Winning on the big stage is all that matters. I don't think any OSU fans will remember this game as "the game where the Hogs almost had an amazing comeback and won."

Way to step up and take it like a man. I thought you guys really had it at the end, but you did look shell shocked the first half. They were going to win sooner or later. Why you guys suck at bowls I just dont get though.
We've started to learn how to become successful, but we still haven't learned how to handle that success and finish the job/season. After Adams dropped the deep ball on the first play that would have been a TD I knew we were in for a fight. He makes that play 9/10 times. Tough breaks.

I'm from Greenwood so I've seen Wilson play many times. I don't think he has the stones to lead an SEC team.
The Day After...

Well that loss is still stinging. My Piggies have choked in almost every big game my entire life...I thought last night that we might finally turn the corner. We were starstruck and made way to many mistakes (from 100 dropped passes to not capitalizing on opportunities) to even be close. We didn't deserve to win that game and it's embarrassing. We embarrassed ourselves and the SEC and it's tough for me to swallow. However, I do believe our program is improving and next time we will be more prepared for the bright lights.
Also, I'm fine with all fans in the conference being upset about breaking the streak and what not, but to say we don't belong and deserve to be kicked out of the SEC is a little much...
Good luck against A&M.

I thought it was going to be an easy scoop and score but he just got tripped up. You know he has to be feeling sick.
If anyone should feel sick it would be Joe Adams...three dropped balls (two for TDs).

We know.
re: Arkansas u embarrassed your selves tonight

We know. Receivers were awful. When DJ Williams is dropping the ball, it's not a good night. We had so many chances in the 4th to take the game and didn't. We can't handle success...never have been able to. Ugh just scoop and score...

LSU message board < people in Little Rock after the game yelling obscenities to my father.
Your post is a PC way of saying "better luck next year."
Now GTFO
Was I the one yelling at your father? No, if I see an opposing team's fan after the game win or lose I just tell them good game and good luck. I'm sorry some random people yelled at your father, apparently ruining your view of our fan base. But you do realize you are doing the same thing right?
Whether you want to believe it or not, I was sincerely wishing you, the rest of your fans, and your team good luck in your bowl game. I'm sorry I hurt your feelings. I pray that your team isn't so sensitive...
