...would you have taken it? Yes...we came out flat again Kentucky. Yes...today was a mess (but a win). But in all honesty if I said we'd be 3-1 right now on August 1st how would you feel?

Pretty sure we actually want to have a blackout. They're selling shirts and will almost without a doubt be in our all black uniforms. I also plan on blacking out at some point between the 3rd and 4th quarters.

The TFL total really gets me. I've seen mixed figures on our tally from last season...but to get that many after one game against a plus offense that runs a quick strike offense is pretty damn impressive.

I don't think any of us do (nor should we) feel any sympathy. This should be the season aTm feels actual effects for their roster mismanagement the last few years.

Deebo is great. But lets also remember with his 2 TD catches on Saturday he doubled his career receiving touchdown total. I know he had the 6 rushing last year (among others) but lets not overread one game and enjoy what else he'll give us this season.

Has this basketball season been up and down in many ways? Yes. Absolutely. After last season's snub/NCAA botch job I though we'd still be a tournament team this year but wouldn't believe it until last week during the selection show. The Thornwell suspension hurt but that's Frank making a man out of a (talented) boy. I was, as many of you were last week, shocked to see us get a 7 seed. In our home state nonetheless.
I drove down to Greenville from DC on Friday and it was one of the best decisions I've made in years. The crowd was fantastic and as a newer graduate who loves basketball, I under appreciated how much that win meant. I saw grown men crying and embracing. If we lose tomorrow, it won't be for a lack of heart or hustle. After we got our bid everyone seemed more relaxed and loose. We played well all game--once the averages reset we controlled that game. Lets make this the new norm to play annually.
It's all house money now, friends. Sin, Duane and Justin came here for one reason and they're doing it. For a rare occasion tomorrow most of the country will be cheering for us. Cheers to our seniors, Frank Martin and his drive to build a program and to our fans who will make Duke feel like they're made so many teams feels over the years playing in Greensboro, Raleigh or Charlotte. Lets get loud early and often. Once more for Sin City!

As a graduate of this major (SPTE) who came to USC for one of these primary reasons, this makes me extremely proud and happy. Even if our majors don't pursue a career in this exact trajectory (I didn't from the outset and have not since) this is good material to add to a resume or LinkedIn profile should anyone ask about it.
