Let's take from MBB before we take from programs who consistently make the post season and have brought home National Championships within the last decade.

Glad we won. Will never root for the Tigers to lose.
Doesn't change the fact that McMahon shouldn't have left the PMAC after last week's losses.

If Frank Wilson leaves for OM…

Frank Wilson turning his back on LSU hurts his recruiting ability more than it helps it, and that’s about all he’s good for… If he’s so good with New Orleans and abandoned LSU for a step down at Ole Miss, why would recruits trust him?
I just can’t imagine that a decision like this would help him professionally, especially after publicly saying as the head coach of LSU, “I love this school”, “I’d do anything for this school”, and then turning around and leaving for one of our permanent opponents.
EDIT: I’m aware Frank wasn’t going to be the RB coach under Kiffin. I’ve read multiple places just like you have that he was offered an off the field recruiting role. If he truly “loved” the school so much he’d take it.
I don’t blame him for taking another job. I’m just questioning his word & how that would affect his trustworthiness leading to recruiting.

Neyland was pretty nice. The campus is very hilly though so it'll wear you out if you're wandering campus all day before the game lol

re: Who was LSU’s #2?
Posted by FIRE_coachesname on 12/3/25 at 12:23 pm to Circle K Beggar
My gut tells me it was
Saban 1a
Kiffin 1b
Saban being retired and a longshot was probably our "hopeful", with Kiffin being our more realistic #1.
I would think Sumrall was our #2 but we were so confident that it never even made it that far.

9 coaches were removed from the OM website today.
I wouldn't say "most" left, but a lot did.

I'd like to believe this was his plan all along.
He's replicating Notre Dame and praying for the best.
