I know one thing about JT, he has ran against the best that 5A has and also the reigning 4A state champions. He is a talented RB for sure. I like his future at LSU.
re: Predict LSU ranking in 1st CFP poll Tuesday election night.

That is very correct. It’s not about the top 25, it’s all about being in the top 3 or 4 of your conference. It helps to be in the most powerful conference, the SEC. It’s just like high school football playoffs. And if you win the conference with 2 losses you are an automatic top4 seed and have a bye.

Just like when we had two guards playing tackles when Les was here
re: What top tier coach in their right mind would want to be Saban’s puppet?
Posted by 4EvEr Bo REIN on 1/12/24 at 10:22 am
It will be Dabo, he is a coach that has already won Championships and that’s what Alabama wants, a coach that has already won Championships. With Saban being there still he will bring up Dabo and the new staff. Remember also Dabo played at Alabama so he is alumni, that holds a lot of water in the bucket. Alabama will still be Alabama with Dabo I hate to say it. But we’ll see how it plays out, it will be interesting to say the least.
re: William Whisner - P-51 Ace from Shreveport

William Whisner was George Pretty’s wingman, they both flew for the 352nd fighter group, just that group was one of the most decorated fighter groups in the European theater. They were called “The Blue Nosed Bastards”. Pretty was the top Mustang ace of the war. Go to their website if it’s still there, there are tons of information on them. Pretty’s book is great read also.

I will say this brother there is a lot of coonhunters out there. But the Louisiana Wildlife Department needs to let us hunt coons longer on the WMAs. They let us hunt them in some place’s just for a couple of weeks. They need to give us from November 1st to March 31st. After a few years of this the coon pops would start to balance out. In some of these WMAs the coons are like ants. Some nights we can take out 25- 30.

I shoot a Martin Mamba with some Canebreak Rattlesnake skin covered limbs. It’s a 60# bow but once you get use to it, it’s nothing been at it for three years. I started bow hunting in 1991. I rather trad hunting than with my compounds. The key is to shoot at least 12 arrows a day every day. Warm up close 5-10yrds then 15, then 20, then out to 25. My furthest shot I will take is 30. You have to build confidence in yourself when shooting trad.

re: Bible and sickness
Posted by 4EvEr Bo REIN on 2/3/23 at 8:56 am
It’s referring to spiritual sickness, read the scriptures from 13-20 of that chapter. Treatment of spiritual sickness experienced by a member of the Christian congregation is considered at James 5:13-20. The context, which contrasts being sick with being in good spirits, shows that James was dealing, not with physical illness, but with spiritual sickness. Concerning remedial steps and their effectiveness, James wrote: “Is there anyone [spiritually] sick among you? Let him call the older men [the elders] of the congregation to him, and let them pray over him [so he can hear the prayer and show he agrees by saying “Amen”], greasing him with oil [encouraging him with comforting, soothing instruction from God’s Word, to restore him to unity with the congregation (Ps 133:1, 2; 141:5)] in the name of God [with faithfulness to God and according to His purpose]. And the prayer of faith [offered by the older men on behalf of the spiritually ailing person] will make the indisposed one [spiritually] well, and God will raise him up [as out of despondency and a feeling of being abandoned by God, strengthening him to go in the way of truth and righteousness (Php 4:13)]. Also, if he has committed sins, it will be forgiven him [by God (Ps 32:5; 103:10-14), if the individual responds favorably to the prayers and the reproof, correction, and exhortation from God’s Word given to him by the older men, and he repentantly turns around and goes in the right way (Ps 119:9-16)].”
re: How long can a duck stay in the freezer for taxidermist?
Posted by 4EvEr Bo REIN on 1/23/23 at 7:09 pm
Funny you should ask, my brother in law had a pair of redheads mounted that was in the freezer for 15 years and were mounted and looked like they were killed this year. As long as they are wrapped right and not freezer burned they will be fine. He literally forgot about them and just found them in the freezer. He got him a new freezer and came across them when he was swapping stuff out. The guy who did the work had to take his time thawing them and working on them. It’s an awesome story about the birds how they were taken and then being forgotten then found them in the freezer some years later and then the taxidermist has not been long doing work but he brought them back in an amazing way.
re: Stetson Bennett is 25 years old

You are correct, he's a fully mature man playing against boys just out of high school. Hooker was the same also. They’re both about to turn 26. Burrow has been in the NFL for already three years now and Stetson is still in college Lol. Total shame.
re: Lab Owners - Feeding question
Posted by 4EvEr Bo REIN on 12/20/22 at 3:59 pm
Depends on what brand you go with, the serving sizes are always on the back with the weights of the animal. It will show the total cups per day so just spit it if you want to feed morning and afternoon. If he’s active and you hunting him hard in the winter feed him a 30/20 and in summer I would go to a 25/16 around that. Victor or Joy brands are the best out there. Go to their websites and research them. Joy has never had a recall in 70 plus years. It’s hard to find. Victor around my area hear the duck hunters use on their labs. I run coonhounds I need the best feed there is. Just research and you’ll find what’s good for your dog, when you feed the heavy food in the winter and they are super active they need a lot of kcalories. Remember they are athletes and need the best to perform at top levels. Also get you a size scoop that measures a cup that way you know you are feeding them what they only need. Good luck.

That should have been a flag, unsportsmanlike conduct, 15 from the spot automatic 1st down. These SEC refs are freaking stupid. This one then the slap in the head, and the helmet to helmet should have been called.

Any reports or pictures from the Caldwell Parish tornado. I heard it was pretty torn up in the community of Copenhagen. It was a very large wedge tornado.
